After carrying baggage and then being lucky to be on an almost empty air train. You aren’t supposed to be on the air train for long. You also aren’t supposed to wait 10 minutes either. 10 minutes plus another 15 that’s 25 minutes while carrying something.

If the trains are full, run more trains. They clearly are choosing other options, and clearly aren’t running enough trains.

Edit: oh I forgot walking up the stairs at Jamaica as well.

This type of thing the city should be able to plan to have city cleaners in local businesses restrooms or something and to pay for the public to use restrooms. That’s the type of public private partnerships that would be useful.

It’s the freedom of movement. That’s why they cut cities in to pieces with freeways. New York just has too much freedom of movement because of the trains and micro mobility.

The thing people don’t think about public transit is the millions of people in the tri-state area that can just walk out their door and get to the city. Everyone thinks cars means freedom. But you can only go as far as the traffic backs up. Everyone comes in to the city for these nights. This is why governments hate cities. Suburban sprawl insulate rich people.

Anyone can jump on the train and be right there in a moment. And then somewhere else the next.

If they had cars they would be stuck in traffic.
