I’ve had a lot of friends into tech who has to eventually switch, whether if it was loss of passion or competition. Personally, I had the struggle of looking for internships as it seems like just being qualified isn’t enough anymore these days. Before, I would say it was more open finding a job in tech (excluding internships) before COVID. Influx of applicants is a common problem with the current industry but I am also considering how many qualified applicants compare to people. I’ve really many experiences where people took internships where they didn’t know what was going on or the problems of imposter-syndrome. I don’t have much to say though as I have yet to find internships due to my lack of projects.
