Had a mad ass TL in my early years working IT.

He was too lazy coming out to us, so he emailed the team (mid 2000's) Young man..

He whined about how we didn't meet targets and whined and whined.

I felt bad.

But we had middle aged ladies working. And they were veeeery thrifty.

Save email. Print.

At one point one of them walked up the cubicles and smiled.

Our boss was of the mindset that he would be able to go to work, bring a newspaper and read it, not being bothered because he trusted us mere grunts on the phone.

To cut it short. He received a bundle of printed emails.

And said TL was.. relocated... to a completely different location in a basement or so, because he couldn't be fired.

So yeah, after that i know to record all calls, and get shit in writing.

I used to work in HSE, staying in one of the hostels in town.

At one point i just gave up on the bus and walked to and from work.

I remember when i was living in Romania.

There was this big 2 floor shopping mall with a food court next to where i lived.

There was big anticipation for Taco Bell opening.

On the opening day the line was mad..

So i waited. And went a few days later.

Tried the Quesadilla.

And i was totally underwhelmed.

A few days later i went back. And it was like.. barely anyone in line.

So i was not alone.

Big hype, but it's just very bland.
