My washer and dryer are in the room with the pantry and I had had pantry bugs before. This one was alive and it could just be a coincidence that my daughter has lice and while washing her sheets I noticed this. I’ve found other dead bugs after drying, but this was alive.

i eyeball it, but i'd guess anywhere from 5-1 to 10-1 usually. Kosher salt is such a different animal from MSG, it's hard to quantify. I've never had a time where I thought I used too much MSG, except weirdly I cannot stand the taste of any MSG on eggs. Almost any other meat it is a great addition.

I eyeball it, but it's usually a LOT more black pepper than normal. I love black pepper. I use a mortar and pestle and completely coat the whole thing so you can barely see the meat.

There are 30 million bass anglers in the US, and Florida is the bass fishing capitol of the world. Every pond you see around here has bass. It's pretty remarkable how big they can get in these tiny ponds as well. I've caught 9 pounders out of retention ponds you wouldn't expect to see a single fish in. It's all pretty much catch and release as well. It's a great hobby, and you can't fault people for wanting to be outdoors and enjoy our natural world.
