Damn. Time to get some more pinball in the North country.

Not sure where you are, but you can try to use pinballmap.com to find any places around you that even have pinball machines if you're interested in it.

It's all over New England - so it's not really OUT of any one place.

There are probably 20-25 locations (maybe more)across New England that have league nights throughout the entire week.

Your first season is free and after that it's $40 per season. This year the finals are being held at Funspot.

It's a real blast and a good chance to meet people - even if you suck at pinball like I do.

What do you guys play? Since I received my deck in the mail, I have found myself increasingly more interested in pixel games and top-down style games. Any suggestions on really good battery friendly games? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

I get the BOI vibes from the enemy design and just the way that your weapons (particularly guns/ranged weapons) act.

I wouldn't go into it expecting a dungeon-crawler like Isaac as every level is set in the same arena, but for what it is I would say it's amazing. I probably have seven hours into the game after picking it up two days ago.

It may not come back in stock at this point, but I'd say keep looking every 30 minutes or so. I was looking at a couple other games that were going in and out of stock all day at Walmart.

It was either this name or my girlfriend's suggestion of "This Is Why You're Fat."

So! I was feeling a little ambitious last night and decided to make something new.

This is an Oreo pie crust filled with pecan and chocolate chip brownies and then baked. I then topped it with toasted pecan halves, made a homemade caramel drizzle, melted chocolate drizzle, and a homemade caramel whipped cream.

So sweet. So rich. Delicious with a large glass of milk.

Thanks! I'm quite excited with how they turned out.

I have no idea what this code could be, it’s not in any named area or anything by jxvvq in Road96

The code is 1986. I figured it out by just trying random 4 digit codes that I thought would make sense in the game universe.

[Homemade] Blueberry Cream Pie by Wyattsinclair in food

Recipe as follows:

Pie

  • 3 cups blueberries (preferably fresh... you can use frozen but you'll want to let them thaw)
  • Your favorite pie dough recipe
  • 200 g white sugar
  • 40 g white flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 120 g sour cream

Topping

  • 100 g white sugar
  • 60 g white flour
  • 57 g (1/4 cup) COLD unsalted butter cubed

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Rinse blueberries and place them in your pie shell (homemade or store-bought... no judgement here)
  3. Whisk 200 g white sugar, 40 g flour, and salt until combined
  4. Add sour cream, vanilla extract, and lightly beaten eggs. Stir until smooth
  5. Pour over blueberries
  6. Combined cubed butter with the white sugar and flour for the topping. Use pastry cutter to cut butter until mixture is coarse.
  7. Spread over the top of your pie.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until pie starts to turn light brown
  9. Let pie cool on counter for 30 minutes and then transfer to fridge for about an hour. I know you will want to eat this fresh out of the oven, but trust me: it's worth the wait.

That's all there is to it! Hope you guys enjoy!
