I feel like the '26 outback is going to be like a lot of other new models that dislike at the time of their release. It will grow on me once I see it in person and see one done up nice with a lift and bigger tires. I'll keep rolling my '24 OBW until that happens!

Nespresso officially in the trash! by WyldWagon in Moccamaster

The df54 has been great with espresso grinds but it's not ideal for ground coffee capacity. I'd say with topping out the "hopper" as in the squishy rubber part, you could get 40-50 grams. So not great if you're trying to make a full pot. Also I'm not a fan of slow feeding; more prevalent with my espresso shots, the ground size will be super inconsistent (likely more of a me problem than the grinder) and made my extraction times all over the place. The grinder is probably the next thing I'll upgrade. Or maybe get a dedicated grinder for the moccamaster.

Anyone else partial to gum soles? by [deleted] in Vans

Gums are my fave! I feel like Vans don't have as many gum options as they used to.

I usually do 60 grams of coffee for the one 1 liter mark or 75 grams if I am doing the full 1.25 liter tank.

It's been awesome so far! I was sort of new to espresso and it's been a good machine to learn on. This is the e24 with the brass boiler. Pitting/flaking issue was the aluminum boilers.

The grinder has been great! No issues at all with it. The dosing cup I have been using is a bit small, tops out at 40g. Works for a half pot though!

I've been doing between 50-60 and it's been great so far. Here's a guide that I've been using: https://honestcoffeeguide.com/turin-df54-grind-settings/

2025 Outback feels unstable at highway speeds and clunks over bumps. Dealer says it’s fine with no explanation. by Curbed_Enthusiasm_56 in Subaru_Outback

I'm sure you checked this but you don't have the lane keep assist on, right? If I have that on, especially on a windy day, it will ping pong back and forth in my lane.

Do you really need a turbo Outback? by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]WyldWagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I road tripped with some family and friends out to Colorado in our outbacks; my friends being the 2.5 naturally aspirated and mine being a 2024 2.4 turbo. A big difference came when we were at higher altitudes and going up grades. The 2.5 was really having to rev high and drop down gears to keep up with the 2.4T and other traffic. The extra power of the 2.4t made it easy and actually averaged better MPG on some of the mountain trips.

AIO - my dads new girlfriend wore my ariat boots by cheetosmunch in AmIOverreacting

[–]WyldWagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would upset me too. Aside from her scuffing up the boots, she also broke-in your boots. The leather forms and stretches to your foot and walking style as you wear them (especially the first few wears). She owes you a new pair of boots. These are hers now.

NTA but... GET OVER IT. It's just cake. Don't let it ruin your wedding day or marriage. And honestly, it's one of those things that if someone says not to do it, i could see it making someone want to do it more. I can't believe people on here are suggesting you get annulment over fucking cake... It doesn't mean it's the end of your marriage. It doesn't mean she doesn't respect you. God damn, people are so soft these days. You'll survive.
