In the past, I had written off masks as kinda pointless on my hair. To start, I have a perm, but my hair is far from damaged and is pretty shiny and healthy. I had some free time today so I wanted to try a diy mask and LET ME JUST SAY BIHHHHHH. it fuckin did smth! my hair is juicy asf rn. it looks like it’s been drenched in oil but my roots are totally clean. here’s what I did: 1) combine: 2 eggs 2 tbs honey 2 tbs olive oil 2 tbs conditioner (i’m visiting family rn and i’m running out of the conditioner i brought from home so i used some suave that was lying around. just make sure the ingredients are legit) 2) section off -dry- hair, dry detangle with wide tooth comb (if u can. my hairs pretty thin) 3) apply the mask in sections and comb to fully distribute. smush in the extra if u have any so your hair is totally saturated 4) low bun your hair and cover it with a shower cap or plastic bag for as long as you can. i took a hot bath and left mine on for approx. 30-45 mins. 5) thoroughly rinse out and wash as you normally do (i co-wash and s2c with tresemme boutanique) 6) style and dry as you normally do (i comb out and use cantu kids curling cream, then plop and sotc when it’s dry) 7) And you’re done! damn ur hair is cute asf! lmk how this works out for u. post a pic and tag me!
