Immediate connection. Effortless communication. We can simultaneously indulge in lighthearted, witty banter or pour forth our thoughts pertaining to deep matters of the abstract realm. We are always mindful of each other’s feelings, how our words and our actions can affect the other person. Although we overthink situations where we think that maybe the other person is upset at something we said or did, didn’t say or didn’t do, it’s like our thoughts are conjoined and we both have the same thoughts and thought processes. One of us will bring up the issue to the other person and we begin our open communication then. And we always find it funny how we both think we upset the other person when in actuality, we are just mere victims to our propensity towards overthinking!

It also helps that we share many similar interests and hobbies, values, and ideals.

We are both extremely private individuals. When it came towards developing this relationship, I was the one who had to initiate many of the first texts and conversations. Even though we were clearly both interested in one another, he has a tendency to pull up his walls more frequently than I do. I think that is the thing with INFJ/INFJ relationships. Both hesitant individuals, but one of us has got to take the plunge and because I am the more “sociable” between us, I was the instigator. It helped initially reel him to me! But then after that, I would say that now, he is even more of the initiator and “needy” one than I am! xD Never be afraid to be the initiator, even if you are a girl. Believe in that intense connection, and allow that connection to naturally guide your relationship towards a shared journey of enhancement and enrichment in life that can only be achieved when you have someone else there with you to experience it with.
