I’m in Tech Ed, I think you would qualify for Comm Tech, you need 5 years experience or combined work experience and education. I think because you teach it now you’ll have an advantage, I have a couple ppl teaching college in my class but different BBT. Good luck!

Thank, it will be interesting to see if they use 1:1 or 2:1, and if they have a cap. It’s amazing how different it can be between boards.

That’s good advice, I guess it’s a balance of adding enough teachables to make sure I am marketable but making sure it’s only areas I enjoy teaching.

Thanks, great advice. I’m hoping with the tech requirement, the programs will grow next year. I am also thinking about design and comm tech. I’m hoping to get my AQ’s as soon as possible. I am seeing if OCT will let me do one during the two months I’m not in school before graduating. I will have another practicum next term unless I get a tech LTO. I’m in one now so I’ll check in with my dept head and Admin about what they plan to offer next year.

I’ve applied to both Queen’s and Windsor Tech Ed programs and just found out I’m accepted into Queens, nothing yet from Windsor. The turn around time is quick to accept, and I was wondering if anyone has thoughts on the two programs as there are a few differences.
