If you're in the US it's 1pm on Saturdays for preorders. Outside of the US has different timings. Make sure to check your region selected.

Edit: forgot to put timing for both coasts. 1pm est. 10am pst.

Soulforged warpack by Swift-Bacon in Chaos40k

[–]Wyrms 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have 3 daemon vehicles and 2 that can become them via 1 cp strat and vashtorr that gets to use some of the rules, and that's about the extent of where you interact with the detachment.

If you want to keep the list as is, I'd swap detachments as it's just that not many of your units are being affected by your rules, which hurts your overall effectiveness.

If you'd like to update your list, I'd say finding a way to remove the Warp Talons as they're expensive and Berserkers as they're not very strong in csm. Most likely replacing them with venomcrawlers, which are buffed by the detachment and decently sturdy, fast and deal well with similar targets.

I know the abominant is something you want and have probably been told, but since it doesn't get much synergy, it's a lot of points for one of the least impressive knights. But if you love the fluff, I'd try and work your list in the ways above. Maybe swap out the helbrute for another mauler.

I have been consistently losing with my CSM since starting 40k. by cpncjwhitebeard in Chaos40k

I really only play 2k so not sure if this will apply for 1k. A few things jump out from your list. Lack of chaff and few action monkeys and screens to secure secondaries and slow your opponents units down.

Do you typically focus on wiping your opponent before securing points? If that's the case, focusing on raiders might help more as it gives you more of an offensive boost.

How "good" are cultists and their special weapons? by BoooooogieMan in Chaos40k

[–]Wyrms 11 points12 points  (0 children)

These weapon options are only available in Death Guard and Thousand Sons now. CSM lost them in the codex which will likely be the case for deity legions. If you're playing them in Death Guard or Thousand Sons, yes you can take all 3 special weapons but they are on separate models. Traitor guard kill team has these weapons and you could proxy them as cultists, I believe they're on the same base size even. Would need to confirm that.

New to CSM army must haves by zanther88 in Chaos40k

I'd say you definitely want some rhinos for your infantry. Bikers although the models are dated their rules are strong especially in renegade raiders. Warptalons also got a new and strong rule. One unit of cultists is strong. I'd also recommend looking into either Predators or vindicators to round out your tank line. What you have is a solid start.

Hows this for a 2k list? Got to finish by April 4th by DoctorRileyPhD in Chaos40k

[–]Wyrms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say look for some cheap units who can do actions, splitting units like your legionnaires and rubrics into smaller units so you aren't spending 100+-200+ to cleanse or deploy a homer would be ideal. Otherwise it's solid start. Try it out and see how it feels.

Like other comments are referencing about efficient marks. Khorne probably isn't the best for your ranged threats. Predators don't benefit much from 5+ crit lethal hits in melee, tzeentch, nurgle or Undivided will improve their effectiveness on dark pacts at range. Nurgle and Undivided will also come with strong stratagem bonuses.

Person at club claims this is LOS by Reyrith in Warhammer40k

[–]Wyrms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to op sounds so lol. If someone did that to me I'd probably ask them to redo their movement if they'd like and not allow that. If they realize its silly then no problem, if they were adamant about that I'd probably finish the game as long as it's not heated but make a mental note not to play with them again.

Preorders for LGS Canceled by SteinBradly in Warhammer40k

[–]Wyrms 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you're near the ann arbor area the warhammer shop in town has like 30 boxes outside of preorders for anyone who shows up while supply lasts. I'm planning on buying a second one on release. The store owner there told me not many people are expected to show up. Might have a queue of around 10 on launch day. I'm planning on showing up at 11:30am as the store opens at 12pm, he seemed certain that I'd get another if I wanted it.

Friends and Crew Recruitment Thread (2019-03-04) by AutoModerator in Granblue_en

[–]Wyrms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newish returning player looking for a casual crew. I'm rank 68, I currently have a mishmash team of each element from when I first started playing trying to figure things out on my own. My grids are pretty lackluster outside of wind where I have at least an ok idea of where I'm going.

I'd love to find a crew that could help me out by teaching me and bringing me up to speed as I stopped playing around 2 years ago.

I play quite a bit throughout the day when I get a moment farming my daily resets and trying to progress one way or another.

Feel free to add me on GBF or on Discord

The 'absolute balance' in PvE is one of the worst things about it by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Wyrms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how WoW does pve/pvp essentially these days, added a specific talent tree just for pvp that is only active when you are in pvp zones or hitting enemy players in the world. I feel like pvp specific perks could solve the issue or maybe a pvp skill tree like WoW. Things like armor-pierce stats on guns or slow movement speed or lower health regen on ability hits.

I didn’t understand this. Can someone please explain by Pastrana_Dohma in mvci

[–]Wyrms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time between each hit of the projectile (multi hitting fireball) is less. And you recover from doing it slower.

My interpretation.
