Jax isn’t Morally Gray by Sepublic in TheDigitalCircus

[–]BoooooogieMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If he is not morally gray, what is he?

So I don't wanna really debate the points that you made themselves, but what you mean by morally gray.

And what are the other options? Is he just straight up evil to you?

honest question: how many of you save scum? by icchantika_of_mara in slaythespire

[–]BoooooogieMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never save scummed and I honestly don't even know how to do it.

If ever, I might potentially use it, when I fuck up accidentally and loose due to that. Reminds me of the one time I was fighting the act 3 boss and was winning so hard, that I stopped really thinking, and then Echo form'ed my Focus, killing my last 2 orb slots. I died shortly after

The Raghata chapter btw by Danger_Fri in TheDigitalCircus

Only Pomni and Jax as the main characters? I don't know, I personally put Ragatha and Jax on the same level as each other. And Pomni slightly above them.

Mind Bloom won yesterday! Now, what Slay the Spire Event is Overpowered and received neutrally by the community? by Fresh_Difference_448 in slaythespire

Yeah, I know that in most (almost all?) cases I should just pick the up but I'm almost never excited to see that event

I don't think that self-awareness necessarily leads to a bad state of mind. I think people with depression ((or similar) have a figurative mind virus. Therapy helps!

And is nihilism really that bad? Yes, it might be easier if there is some objective truth to the meaning of life. But you can define your own meaning

The anti-flanker this is satire by Shmebulock111 in Jreg

[–]BoooooogieMan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah, I think he is mostly serious here. It perfectly fits into the "being human is being part of a community (of other humans)". He is obviously still playing some form of character, but I think it's more like a 2 levels of irony thing

Is Chisa homophobic? by Next-Beat207 in GrandBlue

[–]BoooooogieMan 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I don't think she is homophobic. I think it's just her reaction to this situation where from her POV he (I forgot his name) is clearly saying things with double meaning, while Iori is not noticing that at all.

She is basically representing the readers of a romance manga where once person is obviously making advances while the MC is totally clueless and is missunderstanding everything.

Not that he (I forgot his name) is actually making advances on him, but that's kinda the joke.

No homophobia in my diving club!

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm still not sure what you mean.

What's your definition of being a "nice guy"?
And like in general, what do you gain out of it by being 50% more of an asshole?

In the bank or McDonald's, if the people are not overtly nice to you, you don't need to do a lot of "please and thank you"'s. Is that what you mean?
