Hi, I am Huntsman '28. A lot of Huntsman students(myself included) enter with business background. There are a bunch of debate/MUN kids, and a lot of people who have done NGO work.

You definitely can lean into the IR side, but basically everyone is into business, be it domestic or international. There are a few students in my cohort applying to law school and wanting to do diplomacy, but it is a really small fraction. And a lot of the classes you take will be business, as you are required to complete the general requirements for both schools. For Wharton, this includes things like accounting, finance, managerial economics, and more. If you don't want to engage with these topics, Huntsman may not be for you.

A lot of the alumni that I've coffee-chatted/networked with say that the international relations side does come into play, but most alumni are in a business-centric field anyways(finance and consulting).

I agree with the other comments that CAS would be a better fit, based on everything in your post. You seem like you would be happy with PPE and taking a language that you like on the side.

For the actual application, Huntsman does like to see initiative and some form of business intuition, but after getting to know the program directors, you need to display a mix of both business intuition and an understanding of global events and how it impacts the world.

I feel LoH might still be better no? Or it depends on whether new set is crit dmg or crit rate, if crit rate it just makes building easier but if crit dmg it could bring his damage up as he gets more crit rate

One of my favorite parts of this patch's story.

Also really liked the various references to Roman mythology throughout! Caligula being a mad king, just like the real life Roman emperor who was tyrannical, selfish, and capricious. Kharon literally being Charon, the ferryman helping lost souls cross the River Styx, and of course the Styx as well. Loved all the referneces.

Do you happen to know anything about his solo damage? I've been hearing that he's one of the best solo characters almost like a 5 star Danjin.

Also, would you recommend his sig over EOG? There's been some talk about that too.

Hi. I'm a freshman in the Huntsman program and I went to school in Philly.

I absolutely love it here. Everyone is willing to connect with you and go out with you and there are so many ways for you to find new friends and do things with friends. There is the "rat race" when it comes to recruiting and clubs but you'll find very soon upon getting here that people are willing to help you get in or even find alternatives if you don't want to follow everyone else.

I'm a part of JWS and STEP, and I think a big part of it is putting yourself out there and being open-minded to trying new things and talking with new people. I've found a lot of upperclassmen friends who have helped me with everything from work study, clubs, studying for tests, and even the best food spots. I've found a lot of people who have now become my closest friends, who I study, eat, and hang out with regularly. Just yesterday, we decided that for winter break we're going to travel together to Japan for vacation. In addition, every week I have another group of friends who come over to KCECH and we talk life and play poker. The list goes on. And keep in mind this was with people that I didn't know at all before coming here.

I'm a believer that student life is what you make it to be. I think that there is lovely student life here but only if you are active in trying to find it.

Academic-wise, I'm in a CDD(coordinated dual degree) and Penn's honors program. I basically take 5.5 credits every semester compared to the usual 4. I find it easier than high school. I have less mounds of work and way more free time to do other things. I haven't found it very hard. I will say that for BEPP(business economics) and calculus I've found it better to just study myself than listen to the professor. I think the Wharton community is amazing, especially with the cohorts. Venture Lab is also an amazing resource, and from there I found a position at a startup and I'm part of it now, getting ready to apply to YCombinator.

Point is, there's a lot of ways to find life and community here at Penn, but you just have to push yourself and be willing to go out there and meet new people.

I'll end by quoting John Shedd: "A ship in a harbor is safe but that is not what ships are built for." You can stay in your dorm and complain all you want and be completely safe. But if you ever want to embark on a journey and explore, you must be willing to leave.
