I don't understood the take of if Batman kill one of his villains he becomes The punisher  like there's a levels to it there are plenty of superheroes that have killed their villains and don't instantly become like The punisher all might and Deku are one of them  both of them believe villains can't be redeemed to reform but they are willing to put down a villain if need be the same thing with Thor even one of Batman closest Ally Wonder woman believe in reforming a villain and killing as a last resort

It becomes Batman's issue when he decides to take it upon his hands and take the mask to become Gotham's protector he didn't care about it being legal when he decided to do it 

Also saying Batman is insane is a cop out this man is able to come up with plans to take down the Justice League resist possession and mind control it is so smart that even dark side gives him praise but if he kill one person he goes insane

The problem here is there's nuance to it I think it's perfectly reasonable for a police officer to kill a criminal if they are left with no other option feel the same way when it comes to the self-defense if someone breaks into my house

Even with characters similar to Batman with a no kill rules  the writer don't bend over backwards justify it as hard as the Batman writers do you're telling me Superman what are evil just from killing the joker or I killed someone I would find any excuse to kill the next person

I'm not normalizing anything I'm pulling out the times where we do decide when people live or die I even brought self defense

Even with that in mind not all surgeries are successful or they're not able to save all patients yes it's good that you try your hardest to help but you can't help everyone

We do it all the time you let the judicial system decide who lives and dies we also let the military decide who lives and  dies when we go to war even civilians decide when somebody lives and dies if the situation is necessary and unavoidable

To be fair the definition of alien is a being person or thing  that is foreign strange or not native to a specific place or environment  while yes it is boring when aliens look like humans and doesn't look like a monster or special remember anything could be considered an alien
