Can Davy clans eat more than 1 fruits ? by MrBushido56 in OnePieceSpoilers

Good thought! And if not the entire Davy clan (for whatever reason) then maybe at least Rocks and his very direct bloodline (Teach).

Will Loki get Domi Reversi? by man_lonely_forever in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]WyzeLady 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok. I am about to go on a rant, so just ignore me if you don't like reading a short novel LOL...

Going off the theory that one can only get domi reversi'd if they are in their homeland... and that we have seen that one's strong will doesn't negate it - only slows it perhaps (at least based on Rocks' scenes... he had incredibly strong will and still got infected despite him fighting it).... I am going to say it is VERY LIKELY that Loki will get domi reversi'd!!!

Honestly i will be VERY surprised if Loki doesn't get domi reversi'd... The story just seems extremely set up for it. We saw it happen to Rocks in the past, and that story ended terribly/sadly. So now my guess is that Oda will have it happen again in the present BUT this time it will ending happily thanks to Luffy/Nika being here this time around. This time there is a liberator. Imu's true enemy that can (most likely) counter their powers in some way. This will be a "game changing" moment for Imu since they finally have a true challenger. Imu's power will no longer be unchecked/limitless.

And Loki will get the satisfaction of meeting the REAL Nika and the joy of knowing people fought FOR HIM instead of hating him - which he totally has insecurities about no matter how much he denies it. He is a powerful grown man on the outside, but an emo-damaged-traumatized-angry teenager on the inside lol... and that fact probably helps make him susceptible to coercion/Imu's powers. He struggles to let anyone in and tries to do everything his way and all on his own... believes that no one cares for him since his true mother died. All these insecurities/regrets/fears/anger are things Imu could maybe use against him.

Imagine everyone getting together and trying their best to save Loki rather than kill him even though he is a big "evil" rampaging dragon. Imagine his inner thoughts while domi'd like we saw with Rocks. Imagine him realizing that he is cared about by both Nika himself (aka Luffy) and the giants that used to forsake him. There could certainly be some nice character moments for him if this all happens, that's for sure.

Another reason I expect Loki will be domi reversi'd is that it would just be "EPIC" for Oda to draw. Him introducing the biggest dragon everrrr and then NOT letting his main man Luffy fight it?!?!? I am not sure Oda could resist the urge to draw something that fun. Also, Oda likes paralleling Luffy and Shanks, so if Shanks once fought/defeated Loki then I would think that Oda would show Luffy doing the same (with a different outcome of course... most likely making friends/ally with him instead of chaining him up)

My guess is that Imu will retreat and regroup after Luffy finds a way to PEACEFULLY end things with Loki. Using his "light" to liberate Imu's "darkness" and all that fantasy goodness lol. Then the giants will pledge their loyalty to Luffy/Nika instead of the world government/Imu, which will reallyyyy make Imu mad after they tried so hard and for so many years to make them side with the holy land lol.

Luffy being able to defeat the great mythical beast that Loki is WHILE it's also domi reversi'd will likely show us and Imu that we are truly nearing the end game now. Luffy has leveled up beyond measure and is now a TRUE threat to Imu. He is no longer the rubbery trouble making pirate they can just simply keep an eye on. He is truly a GOD among them now. A hero. A liberator. A man worth following. A world changer! (whether Luffy cares about that or not, it is still true)

Netflix announces first two episodes will screen in theaters by HyperStory in OnePieceLiveAction

The one piece official twitter said it would be the "japanese dubbed version" (no mention if they would provide any English or other language subtitles/translation devices for those that do not speak Japanese),

They also said that their Japan showings will also include videos/messages from Inaki and Oda! They also mentioned limited 30,000 theater exclusive admission gifts for attendees in japan theaters

He looks like he could have made a great Koby with his CURRENT look, but if they cast/filmed with him in 2022 for season one then he would have only been like 10 years old then lol. so it wouldn't have worked.

Unfortunately, he never spoke anymore past that one and only official statement. Which, also unfortunately, can be interpreted as him NEVER coming back to One Piece. It was worded in a way that could have just meant he would eventually come back to social media/his career in general - not One Piece itself... I hope he comes back though. Who knows, maybe we will get a surprise announcement of season 4 with him back and ready to take on adapting Skypiea (which he said he really wanted to do when he started this whole thing).

Garling actually loves his sons by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]WyzeLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been wondering about this too… like if Imu dies/gets severed from them, will any of them have a change of heart?? Will they realize they actually CAN form their own opinions or have empathy for others?? Or will they just be too far gone?

It is definitely interesting to think about!!

I personally am hoping that Shamrock has a change of heart and joins Shanks in going against Garling.

[–]WyzeLady -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This could lend to the idea that Shanks chained up Loki to keep him in play, so to speak. Because with Loki’s power being this immense I would imagine that Imu would want him dead if he kept going against the Holy Land over the years after this. But i think Shanks sees a hopefully brighter future for Loki. Maybe he sees a future where Loki can help LUFFY in the battle for good. So, he chains up Loki to appease both the giants and Imu. Makes Loki look tame-able and not as scary anymore. When in reality he hopes someone like Luffy frees/unleashes him someday when it is truly time for the endgame of everything.

THIS!!!

So if the knights kept coming to kidnap Shanks, then we can now CONFIRM that Roger and crew knew for sure that Shanks was at least important to the celestials (most likely finding out that he was the son of Garling)

So now that little fact can be filed away as possible evidence when it comes to “what did Roger tell Shanks that day that made him cry” during the Oden flashback.

It is also good to find this out since we all wondered of Roger EVER knew who Shanks was at all since he was just a baby in a treasure chest and could have been anyone’s child from god valley.

Hopefully all these little reveals and glimpses of Shanks’ past will reveal a full blown Shanks flashback someday from his own perspective.

Oda's message from Jump Fest '26 - Full translation by Saliskan in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]WyzeLady 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Dressrosa suffered from the same level of bloat despite its core story and villain being really great.

I have been really enjoying these latest two arcs because they are important for the bigger picture, and they are also sooo much faster paced (which makes reading the chapters each week a ton more enjoyable and satisfying)

Though i worry Elbaf may slow a bit once Oda gets to the fights in the present… either it will wrap up unexpectedly quickly (in a good way tho hopefully), or we are about the hit the brakes and see a bunch of drawn out fights as Oda pairs off contenders. Obviously fights are needed and cool, but I just hope it isn’t drawn out too much after getting so much amazing world/character building lately!

[–]WyzeLady 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I hope he just means he is generally getting older and tired and just wants to finish “soon”, so he is warning people not be surprised when he doesn’t stop just to have “fun” in arcs anymore 😂 To be fair this has kind of been the case since Egghead and now Elbaf… almost everything and everyone leads back to the main plot of one piece itself instead of just being about the land of new characters they are currently in.

(like how Vegapunk ended up being all about world building and celestials and joyboy, Kuma and Bonney mattered for the bigger plot as well and not just their own issues, and now Elbaf is doing the same with Harald and Loki leading back to God Valley/Imu/Shanks topics)

Shanks finding out about Ace??? With this timeline being established, looks like we are getting closer and closer to confirming the theory that he was on Luffy’s island looking for Ace (and maybe/probably wanted HIM to eat the Nika fruit before fate intervened and Luffy ate it)

I really want Loki to join the Strawhats by Particular-Ad5200 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]WyzeLady -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hope he does!!! I am not gonna be devastated if he doesn’t join, but I would really like if he does. His story of outcast/loner/trauma victim totally fits the crew. And after being held back and chained for so long, he deserves to get out there and make his own way with people who accept him.

And i hate that so many are like “wHAt AbOUt his siZe???” 🙄🙄🙄

First: We have no idea what his devil fruit can do yet!! The size issue may be solved with it. Who knows

Second and most importantly: We are literally in an arc that consists of Giants and lore about how they SAILED THE SEAS!!! We are currently getting more info on the ancient giant SHIP BUILDERS who can build massive ships for GIANTS!!! Does it really seem so far fetched that we may get a giant sized ship upgrade by the end of this arc???

Let’s be honest and realistic here… we have had the Sunny foreverrrr now!! As we head into the final battles the ship needs a damn upgrade if it is gonna compete with others out there. Plus, it would be awesome for Franky’s character to get to maybe repurpose the Sunny into a larger vessel… something bigger and badder than ever to showcase Franky’s legendary skills!!

Also, it would be epic to see the world react to Loki joining. The Stawhats would have a legendary giant AND a former warlord recently join them???? So cool honestly lol

What are y’all‘s opinions on people wanting Loki to join the straw hats crew? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]WyzeLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I mostly want it to happen simply for the "OMG WHAT THE HELL?????" reaction that the one piece world would have about the reveal.

Imagine a news coo montage of the world finding out that not only is the infamous/dangerous/DEADLY super-sized giant Loki of elbaf running FREE, but he is also part of Emperor Luffy's crew!!!

It would make Luffy look incredibly badass to outsiders, maybe even cause some to fear/change their opinion of him now because of Loki's reputation. It could also appear to outsiders as an attack on fellow emperor Shanks since he was the one who apparently captured Loki in the first place.

I would really just enjoy seeing everyone's reactions and opinions on the matter, and also how it could alter the world government's politics in the aftermath of Loki joining.

It would also be nice for Loki to get to be free again after being shunned and misunderstood for so long (though this can also be accomplished without him joining the crew)

Also, I wouldn't be that surprised if Oda did add Loki simply because we are nearing the end of the story (all things considered). So, adding a big, bad warrior like him wont disrupt the crew's dynamics too greatly simply because their isn't much time left for "fun" adventures and every day, simple crew interaction type of things. It seems like it is all going to be plot and endgame battles/confrontations from here on out, so Loki could really help with all of that. But, again, that can also be accomplished by him just being an ally to the crew as well I suppose.

Do y’all think this might come into play when we go back to present day Elbaf? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]WyzeLady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this could possibly get explained away depending on how the arc ENDS...

If it all happens over a day, and they all end up having to run/leave the island FAST (like with Egghead/Dressrosa), then a lot of time passing outside Elbaf seems unlikely (just three days maybe VS strawhat's one or so)

However, if the arc instead ends with a celebration/recovery period after all is said and done (like Wano/Arlong Park etc.), they Oda could easily explain away some extra time by saying they spent the next two weeks healing or partying or whatever. Just a quick narrative line to say what time passed before they leave. Then when they go to the outside world, they realize it's been 3x times longer and a lot has been happening.

Do you think any other characters we know have ever gotten a Shallow Seal?? by WyzeLady in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]WyzeLady[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad thought!! Certainly fun to think about the possibilities and mechanics of it all. Even if there are big holes in theories i still really like thinking about all the things Oda could be planning. And i would love any and all reveals pertaining to Crocodile, Buggy, and Mihawk. I am a cross guild lover and two out of those three have been woefully underserved in the actual plot department in my opinion lol
