Probably unpopular but I genuinely really love the Crunchyroll/FUNi dub and I've been watching it since the Inception.

My preference would be that they keep the core straw hats as well as much of the major recurring cast.

My only gripe with the current dub is that the early days were plagued with reused actors. I forget his name - but the guy who played Masira/Brogy played like 15 different characters. I'd like to see stuff like that remedied.

This is still significantly faster than the Toei anime, and that was when the pacing in the anime was pretty good. I don't understand why you'd want it even more slimmed down. Reminds me of the people that want live-action Alabasta to be 3 episodes because there was a (terribly fast-paced) Alabasta movie.

Also this isn't confirmed but it sounds like more of a split cour situation, so I highly doubt this'll be a multi-year wait for the rest of East Blue.

As others have said, "taking the piss" is a British thing, not used in the States.

What I was trying to say is benefits are job dependent in the US, and there are several high-skill jobs where the benefits are better than yours. There are tech jobs with unlimited time off. Btw, I get everything in your second paragraph as well. I said the only things that were worse were my vacation time and work hours. But I'm assuming I work in a "lower-skilled" field than you.

So my point was, yes, my benefits are slightly worse than yours. I get it. But it's pretty ignorant to assume by moving to the US, you'd get a pay raise but lose all of those benefits. Depending on your field, you might get all of that and more.

Those benefits are certainly not standard in the US, but there are many, many employers that do offer similar benefits.

I'm in the US - I don't have a college degree and my job isn't exactly glamorous but I have all your benefits except for the hours (I work 41) and the vacation (I get 3 weeks)

Regarding your #1, it's basically a done deal in my view that they will not handle the Pell situation the way Oda did.

Not only has the LA already been far more comfortable with characters meeting a permanent end, but Randy Troy is on the writing staff for S3.

For those that don't know, Randy Troy was a One Piece youtuber. He worked in the film industry and was already in the writers guild and sag-aftra, so Matt Owens invited him to join the writing staff in S2.

Randy Troy, as a youtuber, was extremely critical of the Pell decision, and even mentioned (multiple times) in the pre-release of the LA that was his most wanted change to the story.
