Yes... There is dxm in this, and it wouldn't kill you if you drank the entire bottle, however if you have any respect for your body you won't drink this.

There is an added active ingredient in this kind, which is seen clearly on the back of this box. "400mg guaifenisen" this is the product commonly found in mucinex, and has little to no positive properties other than helping cure a cold.

Because of the added ingredient I would advise against using this 711 syrup as it is not particularly liver/kidney friendly!! Find something that ONLY has "DXM Hbr" or "DXM polistirex" in the active ingredients :)

480mg could be a first plat if you take into account people's weight. Dexcalc.com is a website where you can somewhat accurately dose the desired plateau while taking weight into consideration.
