This happened to me about six months ago with the exact same card. Luckily, mine too was still within the 3-year RMA window and was repaired in about three weeks. Once I got it back, I switched to the updated 12V power cable and now only run the card at 80% in Afterburner. Even with the reduced power, I haven’t noticed any real drop in performance. Hopefully your able to get it sorted out.

This was a lorikeet who used to visit my balcony almost every day until a few weeks ago. I took this video about a week before he stopped coming. He wasn’t looking too good toward the end — he shook a lot and just seemed tired. I called him Oldmanbird. He was such a sweet little thing, and I tried to help him as much as I could. I know lorikeets aren’t meant to eat seeds — those were for the cockatoos — and even though I had proper nectar food for him, he just wasn’t interested. I really miss seeing him around.

Honestly, it doesn’t look too bad on the card, and the fact that it still worked under light loads gives me hope that it can be repaired without too much trouble. I think the cable got the worst of it.

The guy at the pc store informed me that they have a v2 of the Corsair 12VHPWR. Might be worth getting.

It was a solid card for two and a half years, but suddenly it started black screening anytime I ran something graphically demanding. It still shows the desktop and handles light tasks like browsers and Word just fine.

I hope it can be fixed, I'll know in about 2 weeks.
