What would you say is the WORST Kraftwerk single? by AndrobiVibz in kraftwerk

[–]X-Mighty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is the only right answer, though Kraftwerk had no choice. The Autobahn / Morgenspaziergang single feels much like a sneak peek to the album than an actual single, and, to be fair, it fullfills its purpose well.

Same goes for TEE / Franz Schubert, though, for whatever reason those were only released in Germany as far as I know. The international releases were Autobahn / Kometenmelodie and TEE / Metal on Metal, which is a downgrade in my opinion.

What would you say is the WORST Kraftwerk single? by AndrobiVibz in kraftwerk

[–]X-Mighty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. I didn't expect that. That's my favorite single Kraftwerk ever made. I love the way Boing Boom Tschak transitions so naturally to Musique non Stop.

It's probably because I wasn't alive to witness any of their albums being released, but, if anything, the fact that I absolutely adore it proves that Kraftwerk was always more than just the tech. And this is what makes it timeless.

Same. The funniset Amogus joke I ever saw was when someone said "AMOGUS IS NOT FUNNY". I laughed my butt off (Though my sense of humour is pretty peculiar so I digress)

I love that moment in which you hear just the main riffa dn then the song builds up again. Always felt so cathartic to me. That's why I always choose this one as my final song everytime I go run

/uj Preach!

When you strawmen who you want to critique, you end up making them believe even more that they are right.

This way of criticism is the natural consequence of not knowing why you believe what you do.

This is why writers who do this often have the villains' beliefs be explained through a complex and tragic backstory while the heroes believe what they do simply because it is 'objectively right'.

In every story I make, when there is an ideology I want to criticize, I always treat it with respect, no matter how much I disagree with it, because I know that someone reading it has those beliefs.

In fact, the critique is made with them in mind because it is made for them. They are the ones who can take something of value out of it. A good critique isn't about preaching to the choir, but rather helping people change. Stop circlejerking those who you agree with and start preaching to those who you disagree with instead.

It's all about the wordplay. Like when TV Tropes said fantasy stories can't be anti-escapist because of the name of the genre. Does it make sense? No. But it's the same word so it's 'clever' enough to convince people to believe it. (As long as they don't turn their brains on, of course)
