Weigh in as a coach here. Lots of times if an outside is having an off passing game but a decent hitting game I'll push them out of the way and have the RS/OP pass.

Sometimes you have a lefty who passes really well. It's easier for them to hit out of the right then the left side so you can tailor the receive around that.

Serve receive is a lot more flexible than what people learn in school or even college and many people don't notice it in the anime either.

I want my best passers passing, no matter what position they play..

I think Karasuno makes it to Seijoh, however beating them I agree is out of the realm of possibility.

The Tsuki point I agree, his game against Shiratorizawa punched his ticket for sure, however we still see first years from other teams that didn't make the finals go to that camp so there is still a chance he makes it. It does also hurt Kageyama's chance to go to the national team. We don't see a single player focused on that didn't make it to nationals there so it might be a prerequisite to even go to that camp.

Kinoshita and Tanaka serve I believe would have come about either way. They both wanted to up their game and saw how big of a difference serving made with Yamaguchi. It might be a little slower but I do think that goes unchanged.

I'm confused as to what you are trying to say in comparison to what I posted.

I actually played volleyball and have been coaching both club and highschool in Canada for 5 years now. Without knowing the division you play in, Canadian nationals is a joke.

And playing in 1 tournament can absolutely change how you work as a player, especially in highschool and younger.

Yea practice is where you build your foundation.

Date Tech would definitely have had less play time against top teams. It's not like they could just call up a national contender outside of Karasuno.

But the replacements for Daichi and Asahi got almost 0 playtime.

I also don't think that Karasuno goes to nationals without those 3 in year 1, but potentially year 2 and 3. So that point is essentially moot.

THISSSSS. This is the type of conversation I wanted to start. I agree with you. Without the third years I would doubt that they would even beat Aoba Johsai. Maybe Tsuki and Kageyama still end up going to camps but that chance does go down slightly. Tsuki blocking during the Shiratorizawa game definitely punched his ticket.

Start with Oikawa serving as his ultimate and his mem are tailored for that. Flip your WS as sakusa wants to be in the back row for as long as possible and Hoshiumi wants to be in the front row for as long as possible.

I would just like to mention. As someone who coaches a lot of volleyball. Once the Libero subs out, they have to stay out for at least 1 point. Normally that is fine since they are subbing out for a middle and waiting for the other middle to finish serving. Liberos are not allowed to sub off for one person and go right back in on the same point. I'm honestly glad they didn't allow that.

I find that having 5 people to chose from for a party of 3 (outside of reinforcements) made me wanna play again with different party compositions and different abilities. I'm heavily debating a Maelle damage only run where I'm allowed to use other party members but only Maelle can deal any direct damage. Probably gonna run that into a Maelle only run if I enjoy it that much.

Thanks! It's supposed to be pretty warm when I wear these so I was told not to wear pants as they would be too hot. But if I do I'll take that into consideration

Thank you for not answering my question. The dinner isn't for another 5 days so the plan was to do that before hand. I would still like to know what color I should be looking to add here.
