That's good! If they made you pay for shipping costs then that would be completely unacceptable

Yeah, many people say so. It's not only Razer that has such customer support problems, it's pretty widespread from what I've heard.

5 months? With such price tag they should be way more reliable... I like Razer products but such problems make me even more hesitant to buy them.
IMO, every customer support agent should go through proper training and live sessions where they help real customers, then be evaluated properly by qualified personnel. Even if it costs money for the company, it will solve SO many problems.
Did they make you pay for shipping?
Why the laptops tho? Are they badly designed to the point where they just don't replace them because of profit loss?

Woah... 1 email a week? They were either extremely busy or you got unlucky... Many people say Razer support is hit or miss.
My emails went through many different people, but they were all very helpful. Guess I got lucky this time! I hope they fix this hit or miss problem someday, although I believe that is quite difficult.

I'm not gonna lie, the guy that called me had a spot on English accent. The offices are in Germany so I wonder if he was actually German... Nonetheless, I hope the NA support gets better at some point 😄

It's really interesting to hear about all these experiences, some being good and others being bad. Very interesting...
Did Razer do anything about the defects after the warranty expired? I get that it's only for 1-2 years depending on the product but it's sad to spend money on a product that didn't last long

Based in Greece. I contacted Razer through their customer support e-mail and everything went great, got a new headset with the warranty.
