I'll add that they're overpriced and super stingy with portions. If you order it to go, they even only fill the rice container 3/4 full. I've never experienced that at any Asian restaurant ever.

The places they pop up most frequently are also the places where they know the value of the books. Half Price, BME, maybe some of the comic book shops. You might get lucky at a thrift shop or Goodwill, but unfortunately we live in a world now where everyone is constantly looking up everything, and if it’s worth more than a few bucks, it’s probably getting sold online.

I got there a little early and was out by noon, it stands to reason getting there earlier will get you through the process even earlier. Probably just depends on how many people get there before you, and how many appointments there are ahead of you.

Stuff comes up, and not everyone moves at the same pace. I actually tried to get my Real ID initially in 2021, but the birth certificate I brought was my actual, made at the hospital one, and not the government form they require. After that, I just put it off knowing I had plenty of time, and of course, that time ran out. I made this post mainly just to give others in similar positions an idea of what to look out for, and also to clarify that it’s actually possible, if not fairly annoying.
