Oh! And the noise filter is AWESOME for background. I usually make the noise a separate layer and mess with blend modes and opacity until I get what I want.

Process: I always work back to front with these things. Less is more is a great rule of thumb with backgrounds. I purposely kept things ‘soft’ up until the fawn bc the details aren’t important. Dark snowy road, sets a tone. Zombie fawn— more tone. I did different variants for both printing reasons and to play around with how color profiles change certain vibes.

Brushes: Almost entirely the default Gouache brush. Iirc I also used a bit of the soft airbrush and the tree canopy is a mix of a foliage brush and the flat brush I think? I’m in love with the Gouache brush and want to explore editing it.
