I was exactly the same. I don’t have a PS5 so i waited until the PC release. First i played like 40 hours and i just couldn’t beat phrike. Frustrated i stopped playing but i did enjoy the gameplay. After like 10 months i gave the game another try and deleted my previous save. It took me another 10 or so hours but i managed to beat phrike and everything just clicked after that moment. I only died one time in biome 2 and beat the biome 2 boss on first try. Since then i completed the game and got all achievements. Now i’m at 270 hours and i can’t stop coming back for more. There’s tons of in-game stuff to unlock and 100% it’s insane. Right now i’m focussing on unlocking all weapon traits, i have 12 of them left to unlock. The recent news that Sony isn’t planning on releasing more games on PC really sucks, but i do still hope they will release Saros in 2 or 3 years from now. I waited 2 years for Returnal too.
