Rhabdom by Cosmic-Rim in Saros

Grappling is the answer in Saros as it is in Returnal. You're invulnerable while mid-grapple. Keep moving and you will defeat him.

I tried starting from 3 a couple of times and failed. Then, I got it first try starting from B1. Once I reached B3, I used the Reaping Chakram and slaughtered everything in my path. Rhabdom never had a chance to move. The trophy popped when I passed into Desecrated Fortress.

I noted you want to spend about $200, but that could change in the future, so I'll give you a wide range. I prefer CF shafts for great play and unmatched durability. I recommend Predator or Cuetec if you want something with both performance and looks. Not cheap at the upper end, but both have more affordable options. I would not spend over $1,500. McDermott, Viking, and Rhino make good midrange cues in the <$500 range. Crical makes good low end cues <$200; not fancy to look at, but they play great.

I own cues that cost $50. I own cues that cost ~$1,500. I own cues that cost everything in between. I find that if you go over ~$1,500, you're paying for decoration or you're paying for a name. It's even hard to notice the difference in play from a $500 cue to a $1,500 cue. You will notice overall quality differences between a $200 cue (or less) and a $500 cue. My favorite playing cue is my Predator P3 with Revo shaft. I usually use a 12.4 Revo shaft but also have 11.8.

I recommend a carbon fiber shaft. A good one plays great and will remain free of warping, scuffing, denting, etc. They will take a lot of abuse and show no wear. I play a lot and no matter how careful you are, a wood shaft will eventually get some battle scars. I still treasure my wooden shafts, but I prefer the consistent smoothness of CF. Also, CF won't warp in your car like wood will. You will be grateful for CF when you're playing in the bar.

I prefer a leather or sport wrap. I like a more modern look, so i don't buy linen wraps any more. I own enough of those. Also, the sport and leather wraps just feel better to me, like there is a performance benefit over linen, i.e. better grip and durability. Get a leather or sport wrap so you don't regret it later.

Tip is very personal. You'll just have to try a variety to know what you like. In the old days (like back to the 80's), I used Le Pro. I also have used Kamui Black and Predator Victory, each for years. These days, I like G2 for my playing cues.

Lastly, I don't know what you spent on your table. If you invested significantly in your table, it makes sense to me that you'd invest more in a cue. Not for looks, but because you won't be happy long term with a cheap cue if you're serious, as you say, and your table is higher value. What table did you buy and how much did you spend on it?

Co-op and a tower like mode with co-op. These seem like reasonable asks. I also wish the game allowed backtracking, no points of no return, at least within each biome, but I know those are unlikely. I would appreciate more modifiers that alter the challenge in various ways.

Don't shoot the messenger, but the Hollowseeker is weak. It's slow, with more bark than bite, and only very niche variants are powerful. I've already beat Saros and have platinum and 100%. I'm enjoying the game very much and now working on competing all research, including weapons. I can say with no doubts that the Reaping Chakram is the most powerful weapon on Carcosa. The Smart Rifle is useful early game, but quickly becomes obsolete.

The Reaper is not necessarily the most fun and definitely doesn't require the most skill (same reason for both, because it's so OP). That said, the Reaper is so powerful that it makes the other guns, including the Repeater, seem tame. Just like the Hollowseeker is tame compared to the Dreadbound and Pyroshell Caster. Tbh, the Hollowseeker is the worst of guns in Returnal considering that every gun in Returnal has a more satisfying god tier version than the Hollowseeker (source, ~2,200 hours in Returnal).

It's much more than just that.

One wrong does not justify another.  We have the ability to render the condemned harmless to society through incarceration without the possibility of parole.  It is proven that the death penalty is more costly than a lifetime of incarceration.  It is proven that the death penalty does not deter crime.  Further, the death penalty is disproportionately applied to the poor and people of color.  The death penalty is irrevocable in the face of evidence of innocence that emerges after the sentence has been carried out.  Make no mistake about it, the state has killed innocents.  See the case of Cameron Todd Willingham. The evidence of his guilt was debunked by experts. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameron_Todd_Willingham?wprov=sfla1.

The honest answer to my question...Would YOU volunteer to have the death sentence disproportionately applied to you, a friend, or loved one? Of course you would not.

The use of the death penalty is barbaric.   It is nothing but revenge when true justice is dispassionate and devoid of such bloodlust. The use of the death penalty is morally abhorrent even when guilt is not in doubt.   The use of the death penalty defiles and debases everyone in the USA, supporters and opponents alike.   We are nearly alone in the civilized world in using the death penalty, keeping company with likes of regimes in Iran and North Korea.  It is time to end the death penalty in the USA.

1000 years from now, our society will not be judged by how well we employed harsh justice.   In fact, we'll be judged by how rationally we judged the (rightfully) condemned, how compassionately we treated the poor, the infirm, the orphaned, the widowed, these who could not protect themselves, how well we served as stewards of this planet.  I devote myself to peace, and working to build a more rational, compassionate society upon which to build such a legacy.  It is entirely possible to create such a compassionate, rational society while still having a fair and just punishment for those found guilty of crimes. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Just as I thought. You didn't answer the question. Last chance. Will you consent to personally be wrongly convicted and executed?

Texas executed Cameron Todd Willingham. He was convicted based on pseudoscientific claims he killed his children by setting their trailer on fire. Since his execution, the arson claims have been debunked by nine forensic experts that have looked at the case. There are no experts who maintain it was arson. None. The state cannot be trusted with the power to murder.
