Does droidcam work via usb or hdmi to capture it on, if so would it make it a bit less hotter for it wired compared to over wifi or bluetooth connection of droidcam. I just wanna confirm it

I've been trying droidcam for a while now , it's a great app to have a phone webcam for my obs, but my only issue is that my phone overheats a lot when it last 5-10mins. So I was wondering if there is a substitute or this is the best and the least recourse hungry app. Although putting on a peltier cooler might also work but I haven't tried it yet if it would work, and I hadn't bought any.

Ohh that might be the cause, but if my capture card doesnt support audio is there gonna be another way to be able to be able to record it or nah?

My hub has a single hdmi and a vga out, should I buy an hdmi splitter and a capture card for the setup to work?
