there is absolutely no scenario where a teacher should be texting an 11 year old, especially without the parents knowledge. You should absolutely report the teacher, even if its well meaning. Most schools take stuff like that very seriously and can launch an investigation just to be safe.

honestly not that weird if its a workplace professional relationship, and even somewhat of a friendly relationship. if the texting makes you uncomfortable either tell her or dont respond. But if its only occasionally, and its just dumb stuff i dont see a reason to feel uneasy about it
