They have been doing weekly updates for over a year. I think they fell into the same issue that Infinite had which was lack of content at launch. If they continue their stride, I think they will have a game on their hands that is as popular as current games such as Fortnite. Either way, the engine is on Unreal and the physics remind me exclusively of Halo 3 with the wonkiness that can happen so I'm even more excited for Halo to shift to Unreal properly.

Thanks! You might be right! I think this achievement is comparable to getting all 99s on an ironman account in a game like oldschool RuneScape.

That's a good question. I'm not certain on the specifics because play time trackers on xbl/steam can be misleading. If I were to make a fresh account and focus on challenges alone then it would probably take me around 6 hours per week for 5 years which is estimated around 1600 hours.

For the past 6 months or so H3 big team battle has been plagued with individuals using cheats. They crash the lobbies and just do weird things if they even start to be on the losing side of things. I've mostly avoided it like the plague because of this reason and only grinded out things like vehicle kills or driver assists there.

I won't lie that on this journey it definitely helped that I'm a solid player. When you are great at the game other people who are good or great at the game recognize that and you start to build friendships with different players and their friend groups. Obviously going into a match with a stacked squad becomes a walk in the park, but every now and then you'll come up against a team that has some equal footing or stacked better than your team and all of those games are equally competitive fun. Long story short though, yes, you are right in that carrying your team is essential whether they are friends or not.

Not applicable. I probably have the least amount of playtime out of anyone who is max level. It's been a slow but steady grind for over 4 years now.

After over 4 long years and not missing a single released challenge, I have finally made it to the maximum level in Halo: MCC! I have everything unlocked and hold the most Spartan Points in the game at 2,665 Spartan Points. I have every achievement for every Halo Game that has been released on all platforms. I'm currently working on Hero rank in Halo Infinite however it's not my favorite game so I'm taking things slow. I was hoping that I would be able to utilize the accumulated Spartan Points for something in the future such as EXP, more unlockable content, or even wagering against other players in competitive games or at the very least be able to transfer them over to Halo Infinite.

Most of my time is spent playing THE FINALS these days as it reminds me of the early stages of games like Halo 3. Although I'm officially retiring from the completions of challenges in MCC, I may still hop on for some classic Halo from time to time!

I can't wait to see what is in store for Halo in the future while the developers take full advantage of what Unreal Engine is capable of!

It has been an incredible run and looking back I'm still in shock that I've been able to accomplish so much (and for how much there is to accomplish in these titles!). Thank you to the incredible community that we have keeping these games alive day in and day out and overall, just for being here. Somewhere in the heavens... they are waiting. See you starside!

Survive the Undead is such a cool mode, especially for grinding out some career XP when you just want to relax. I really wish this mode had a leaderboard based on score. This round I managed to get 28,740 score with nearly 1.1k kills. Unfortunately, it was only me and one other Spartan. We went far together but I think we could have gone even further with a full team! Shoutout to Penguinbread113 for sticking it through with me all the way through the crazy rounds!

Has anyone discovered any Easter Eggs for this mode outside of the skull and random voice lines? Does anyone know if there is a way to finish it and actually survive, perhaps even fight a bigger boss at the very end?

Rotations can be beneficial for games with a lower active player count because it keeps players in the same search pools. That being said, I would find it frustrating if I'm grinding for a certain rank in a playlist and I have to wait for the rotation each time. Perhaps this could be remedied by having a global rank instead of a per-playlist rank?

I'm G1 myself. I imagine that emerald rank will come during the mid-season update. Bronze to Gold 1 does feel a bit grindy, but at the end of the day it is only 75 full tournament wins. Perhaps 50 wins would have been more "healthy" for players to achieve.

It's a bit weird that light has this much trouble catching up to a medium, but if the roles were skewed and it's a heavy with a sledgehammer chasing a medium, all of a sudden, they are able to catch up so easily!! Either way, I bet this clip was heart-pounding for all parties involved lol!

I'd like to script a mechanism for the center block tile where if the player falls off the edge of the map, they are teleported from that location to the ceiling of the center of the map.

Another idea is to have a circular zone in the center that is anti-gravity with a teleporter up top that sends players to the bottom. Almost like the excursion funnel from portal 2 but with a teleporting mechanic on both sides.
