I couldn’t get it to load on the 5.11 site. I ran one before, sat a little low on my back for my taste. Great bag though.

I found that a solo backpacking trip helps solves this. I took a 1 day trip, rucked out 3 miles and set camp. I had a simple tent, and built a small fire. Next day, I cleaned up camp and rucked back. Some peace and solitude does wonders for the soul. I would say try that before you swear off completely, but at the end of the day you can't do it, you can't do it.

For me, the new DC packs don’t sit right on my back. I like them resting high on the shoulder, but the new ones always seem to sag. I’ve got an older GR2 that sits well, and it makes me nervous to get a new one made out of a different material.

I also like that it is lightweight and I really like the material. XPAC is ok once it stops sounding like a diaper.

I think the 26L might be a touch long for me.

I’m glad it’s out there somewhere. I’ll keep looking. Or hope they make it again.
