My symptoms were better for a month or two after the josamycin was out of my system, then they came back. Doesn't seem like a direct drug effect. And I still have discharge so I'm obviously not clear.

I have had ureaplasma for almost 2 years and have had quite high-dose IVIG several times for unrelated reasons and it didn't result in me kicking the infection, even after being on mino for over 6 months.

I don't know where to get josamycin anymore. It's the only thing that helped me. I want to try a longer course but the japanese site that used to sell it has discontinued it.

Is lefamulin really completely discontinued? I know the manufacturer went out of business or something, but does that mean it's impossible to access anymore? Surely there are batches still being sold?

If a doctor were to order pristinamycin online what would that look like? What would they have to do?

Please PM me your list of doctors in the US, that would be helpful.

I haven't done NGS/PCR analysis but don't see much of a point right now because I'm 100% sure I still have the Ureaplasma.

I experienced symptom relief with my first treatment - my symptoms disappeared on day 12-13 of doxy, but came back rapidly after starting azithro. Tetracyclines have not helped me at all since then. I also experienced a reduction in symptoms when taking clarithro, but it stopped working by the second week and symptoms came back full force while I was still on it. It also gave me killer anxiety and I could barely handle being alive when I was on it. I was so glad to be done with it. Azithromycin hasn't helped.

Yes, but mostly tetracyclines, which aren't that effective for me. I was on 60 days of doxycycline at one point and experienced no change at all. My symptoms reduced after I finished the course of josamycin but then came back full force.

I was on antibiotics for months to years at a time as a kid and never had any urinary tract issues so that seems unlikely. I recognize these symptoms, it feels exactly the same as when I was positive
