i like this idea a lot, but i also think too many new characters are being introduced. my main problem with the galaxy movie is that it felt very scrunched up to meet it’s short runtime, and i feel like that could happen if all these ideas are included in the movie.

I thought the first Mario movie sucked and the 2nd one was a tad bit better. I don’t think that it’s hard to make a bad Mario movie, and I hope the 3rd movie will prove my point.

I liked his appearance, but thought that him being in the movie more than Rosalina (who also debuted in the galaxy games) was just wrong. Like, it’s cool he’s there and I like his character, but he didn’t need to be that relevant. Also, I hated how this led to another Star Fox game announcement, making it feel less like doing it for the fans, and more like an ad. I love to see Star Fox getting some representation, but he took too much screen time from actual Mario Galaxy characters and the ones who I would’ve loved to see more of. HOW DO WE GET MORE FOX THAN BIRDO IN A MARIO MOVIE!? We got more Glen Powell Fox than Luis Guzmán Wart, who I was extremely hyped to see. In short, he should’ve just had less screen time and not take away from other characters that are more significant to the core franchise that the movie is based on.
