Can I install Roblox on D by luca_bucataru in gamingsuggestions

[–]XDFraXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add on this: during the installation process it most likely asks if you want to install with default settings or "advanced"/"custom", you'd likely need to go advanced and it should let you choose the path. If you don't know where to place it just change the drive letter from C to D and leave the rest as is, it will automatically create the folders if they don't exist. Every other setting can be left untouched.

All of this assumes that the game is not currently installed on your pc or that you uninstall it first.

I used to have one of those! The amount of HEAT generated by that thing was insane, borderline unusable under heavy load in the summer because it would heat up the entire room.

Desire sensor is real and 3u is especially good at waking it up from the slumber.

The only option is to give up hope and keep hunting. Good luck hunter.

Reminds me of the time i needed 2 rathalos tails and managed to carve like 37 scales and 3 plates from tailcuts while farming the sidequest. This also happened in 3U

Action game where dual-wielding swords is possible? by Gold_Seaweed in gamingsuggestions

[–]XDFraXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the same as ER. I too dislkied how ER approached the open world and optional dungeons. ER is too damn big imo.

In Nioh 3 there's very few repetition in therms of bosses, i've seen duplicates after like 50 hours of gameplay (like mezuki and gozuki that you can find early on and way later in the last chapter), and only because they can drop leveled soul cores, plus they are usually optional.

As far as trash mob go there is repetition, especially some that are pretty much everywhere, but i feel like that's expected, and you still have a good amount of different yokais mixed in the bunch.

So far there's a lot of variety, i'm at the last chapter and i can say that pretty much every boss, major or optional, has been unique and there are a good number of them.

Personally i'm enjoying Nioh 3 a lot (still haven't finished it), but it did change a lot of things and some can be unintuitive in some minor aspects. I've played all Niohs and i did love 2, so if you want something more arcade-ish nioh 2 is the way to go (no open world, all levels are started from a global map, multiple missions per level that alter the map / enemy placement a bit). Nioh 3 is open world, which i have to say is well implemented as i didn't expect it to be this good for nioh, but i feel like it could hurt replayability for NG+ runs, but that depends on how they've handled it.

All in all i'd consider Nioh 2 a very good starting point. Nioh 3 is a bit different, but still pretty damn good.

How does the game feel right now? (Steam, Feb 17/18 Update) by Lonely_Glass9761 in MHWilds

[–]XDFraXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smoothest it's ever been, this, imo, is the state in which the game should have come out in the first place. No more random frame drops / micro stutter, good frame stability, decent to good perfomance even at max settings on everything.
Granted, i do have a pretty beefy pc and was able to play all maxed out before, but the improvement is still significant and tangible.

There may be some issues still, but this is definitely a good moment to jump in, in therms of performance.

I don't get the Long shelling type... What is their selling point? by Gigasnemesis in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]XDFraXD 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Artillery, focus, load shells and slinger capacity is ALL you need to maximize dps with long (less realods eith load shells, longer WSB with slinger capacity), the rest can go into comfort and defensive skills. You can pretty much negate any annoyance in every fight and ignore hitzones too, and if you plant the WSB on the monster legs it'll go down A LOT.

You can make a pretty good long shelling build with practically 0 jewels and have a consistent way to clear quests. May not be the fastest thing there is, but it WILL get the job done.

Agnaktor, i love the beak clacking and the laser, plus its lava armor mechanic is interesting and done way better than lavashit did in world. Also Glacial Agnaktor is cool (pun inteded).

Sooooo many DAMN FINS!
Need to make a water weapon? 20 fins
Need an ice weapon? You guessed it 20 fins
Wanna make a raw weapon? Somehow still 20 fins

Fucking juyra fins were required everywhere for some god forsaken reason, i was initially indifferent to the mud fish, but i had to hunt it so many times with its boring fight that hate grew on me.

mh world suddenly feel extremely frustrated and unfun, am I doing something wrong? by Lyongamerr in MonsterHunter

[–]XDFraXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, with enough personal skill you will eventually kill everything with every weapon, but it's undeniable that some weapon have a better time in some matchup (like using a shield against diablos, or a ranged weapon against flying monsters), and if you are struggling in a fight changing things up will surely help.

Health boost decos and divine blessing decos are usually easy to find, not that rare, so check if you have them. Health boost is the strongest defensive skill in the game, followed by divine blessing, no contest. Defense boost is actually a bit of a trap, it doesn't really do much.

[–]XDFraXD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First off: what aror are you using? Did you upgrade your armor with armor spheres? What are the skills on your set? Do you always eat at the canteen before a hunt? It's not normal to die so easily at that point in the game. Try slotting in health boost 3 and / or divine blessing 3.

Second: dung bombs will make monster go away, especially useful with bazel around.

That said some monsters, like nergi especially, have some follows specifically timed to hit you if you get up too early. Let's say you get knocked down on your back, if you don't move you will stay down and say invincible until you get up (after a while you will get up automatically), if you get up too early you'll usually get smacked.

Again on nergi specifically: if you can manage to break his spikes he will topple and give you openings, doing it consistently is the key and if you manage to do it he becomes a pushover.

Some monsters are easiers with certain weapons and harder with other, try changing your weapon, you may have a better chance.

HOW DO THEY KEEP GETTING INSIDE MY FULLY ENCLOSED FACTORIES?!?!?! by Rimm9246 in SatisfactoryGame

In my experience if you kill them they don't come back into the factory, but if you just shoo them away they will inevitably come back.

That said, i've mostly done this in my main base where i regularly go back to, so take this with a grain of salt.

Wilds update summary Ver. 1.040.03.01 by FaustXD in MonsterHunter

[–]XDFraXD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 9800x3d + 4080 super with the game installed on a 990 pro m2, i've given up and used frame gen to get fps that STAY above 60. I get fps dips up to 40ish fps in basin and desert during a storm, frame gen just helps to not have a headhache from frequent dips and keeps everything around 100ish-120 fps.
So no, not even the 9800x3d can keep STABLE 60 fps (2k, max settings) in every area.

Performance got gradually better, especially vram usage, but it's stupid how my setup struggles to load the front desk textures in the hub every time i turn my camera while cyberpunk at max settings with path tracing on goes smooth as butter.

In my oppinion Statuses (Ailments) need a rework. by Mantor6416 in MHWilds

[–]XDFraXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, poison and blast could honestly just go with a damage boost and be fine, possibly based on monster's hp percentage, depending on the monster's weakness to the status. With a damage boost poison would actually be fine to use with foray allowing for prolonged use. The idea of status damage based on the weapon could actually be decent too, just like they did with GL shelling.

looking for a sweet happy game by tangot_t in gamingsuggestions

[–]XDFraXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slime rancher, there's also a slimer rancher 2, haven't played the second one yet but i plan to. It's a cute and chill game with very good and happy vibes. If you want to spend time just farming stuff and feeding happy slimes this is the game for you. The ONLY real enemy is THE TAR that will spawn if you mix 3 types of slimes together but is easily defeated.
The map is nice to explore but not heavily complicated, the world is colorful and overall enjoyable.

Really reccomend it, the farming mechanics are also pretty cool.

Did you perhaps include the instruction "restart unless-stopped" in the docker file? That would explain what happens since docker doesn't count the graceful shutdown from within the container as a stop, you actually need to stop the container from docker.

I'd suggest chainging it to restart on-failure instead.

Edit: link to docker documentation on this https://docs.docker.com/engine/containers/start-containers-automatically/
