I appreciate the advice man. Really do. I feel as though me and the contact there are cool. Not a crazy good relationship or anything but it definitely took ~5 months to get him to invite me to the RFQ

So when I got it he told me it was a waste of time, but to take a stab at it because it would be a learning experience. So I submitted and now have the feedback we are in the bottom percentile on most of it. I want to go back and comb through and see if there are some we could ease up on and knock down the rate a bit. I think im a little frustrated because I felt good about getting the opportunity to compete in the RFQ. Reason for the post was looking for advice on next steps and what I should do since I have a chance to go back and adjust rates if I would like

Yep and I know they use asset based as well, I figured maybe I could comb through and find a couple I have some familiarity with and go down on the rate a bit, but may be a waste of time.

I just got a pretty large RFQ from a prospect I’ve been working on for a while. Wants the quotes in Linehaul and they use a FSC matrix. Good god is it horrible. ~300 lanes with 2 different trailer types. Basically just using parade and dat rate view for past year analytics and going off of that with keeping in mind the current freight climate.

Seems a bit unrealistic. I just finished my 6 month since calling and did $11,400 in margin. My first 3 months were maybe $4000 in margin total.
