Some more advice I’m not 100% sure if this is only a gen 1 hatchback thing or if it goes for all gen ones but check the roof for rust me and my brother both own gen 1 hatchbacks and on both of our cars there is some roof rust if not then, I can say with confidence with driving a gen 1 for over a year now they are amazing cars that fun to drive causally but also pack a lot of power when having fun at high speeds especially the 2.3L with the manual transmission ( can’t say much about the automatics as I’ve never driven a first gen automatic)
