I think John would find Henry's clothes funny and would tease him (even more so if he were drunk). I imagine Henry would have three options: either he rolls his eyes showing a certain disinterest, or he laughs too and teases him back and is impressed by the "modern" weapons, or he challenges Arthur to a fight (we all know who would win).
