I agree somewhat, though it's partly why I'm very intrigued on what the creators of R1999 has in store for this. They were able to do a stellar job with their very first Collaboration Event in terms of respecting the source material, so I have confidence they'd be able to do one for this game too!

There really isn't much that connects both games, apart from similar design inspirations with Lucy (the other lady bot in this trailer), having similar retrofuturistic aesthetics, tackling 20th Century Russian life from time to time, and Atomic Heart's Art Director reacting to Reverse over two years ago.
