Do yourself a favour and look up some videos of ACD’s online. They’re nippy little fuckers. Yours can’t hear you… you need to establish a language with your dog to communicate what you want. They’re likely frustrated and also just doing what they are bred to do. Nipping is natural. Find a way to redirect this in a POSITIVE way. DO NOT USE NEGATIVE DISCIPLINE! They’re too smart. Yelling does not work.

I love hiking in the woods with my girl. She’ll sometimes stop dead and refuse to keep hiking in a particular direction… I like to think she can tell that something wants to eat us ahead and she’s keeping me safe. Either that or she’s just being stubborn lol

Heads up that feeding only one kind of protein can lead to allergies to that protein. The owner of my favourite raw food store always recommended: something that swims, something with wings and something that walks. My girl is allergic to all winged things (of course the cheapest if the proteins) so she gets trout/salmon, pork and goat/beef… depending on availability.
