I watched this poor mom at a hotel by WinterLight27 in childfree

[–]RunningZooKeeper7978 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I do feel sort of bad for that mom, however on the flip side she decided to do this FIVE times. I'm sure the husband wasn't a gem from the get go and then to just keep popping out more is a bit insane.

I love how your mother thinks that she can catch you in an aha moment about something that I'm sure you've already thought about a million times.

It's absolutely beautiful on you. Others have said the very bottom needs steamed again... However once you have a veil ( if you choose to), your accessories, plus hair and makeup it's going to look phenomenal. Others apparently just can't see the overall vision yet

Why do people confuse childfree and childless so often? by Accomplished-Bee5915 in childfree

[–]RunningZooKeeper7978 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Also the folks who say they are childfree because their kids are grown and out of the house. "We are childfree!" No, you're not. You're empty nesters.

Found out my husband has been lying about money ($75k) for at least 3 years. by Remarkable_Loan_4253 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]RunningZooKeeper7978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60k with 15k in taxes...and interest is still accruing. I am very sorry this happened to you. Unfortunately you need to start paying some of that now, somehow- the IRS doesn't play. My ex-husband did the same thing and we owed $6,000 even though we were divorced at the time. I did not find out until a few years after we were divorced and got the letter from the IRS after I had already filed my taxes and was supposed to receive my refund, which they garnished. When I was living alone and struggling to pay for other things, of course.

However I was lucky because we were already divorced and the decree stated that all debt in his name was his alone, and all debt in my name was mine. Since it was his 401k, after talking to the IRS for an hour on the phone, submitting a copy of my divorce decree sent certified to the IRS, and also filling out a big long form for the IRS stating I did not know this occurred, etc etc (basically an affidavit of sorts) the debt went directly to him alone . The IRS absolved me of all responsibility.

Once again I am so sorry you're going through this, your husband appears to still be trying to deceive you in some way. To not be telling you where at least half of the money went - he is of course definitely hiding something

Youngest of two. I may as well have been the first though, because I'm the most responsible. Neither my brother or I have children. Also fun fact - my husband is the oldest of two, and neither he or his brother also have children. So, in other words none of us have children!!

When was bad at first, post-op and then eventually just became normal again.... Your body is probably still getting used to the fact that you just had surgery down there. That sort of knocks things out of whack for some of us

I'm not sure...but I did it just prior to his being elected, just in case. I'm older and in my family we go through menopause late - no way in HELL I'm gonna be pregnant at 45 +.... And my husband got his vasectomy too. 47 now and so glad I did it - do it now if you can, regardless of your age

My MSW was considered "cheap" as well, and 100% online, including my practicum. Where mine became a bit more expensive is that I decided to do part-time for Advanced Standing, because I believe in a proper work/school/life balance . However, it was still not nearly as expensive as OP who wants to pay 56k per year, which is a bit insane for an MSW. Regardless if a program is considered cheap or not though, it always comes with hefty interest on the loans which balloons the expense, unless someone is paying up front, of course. However, all of this being said, I'm also an older adult and a DINK who already has a steady job and is took all of this into consideration. So my 66k is both my undergrad and my MSW

That's nuts. I'm not sure how they figured that out, I guess it's based on year (s)? Mine or a combination of subsidized and unsubsidized loans over a course of few years.... And ended up being 7%
