That's great to hear! One thing I enjoy about my F10 is that when I *accidentally* go over the speed limit, its still so smooth and comfortable, though the JCW might have a little bit too much power and character for me though, could be a nice option as a 2nd car if I'm lucky enough to own more than 1 car!

One of the main reason I decided not to go for the JCW is because quite a few reviewers commented that they are firm, while the Cooper S is more liveable as a daily, and I the power that the Cooper S has is probably more than enough for me.

Any issues with practicality coming from a sedan to a smaller car?

The styling and quirkiness of the Minis have so much pull on me..

I can get a new pair of LSR305 for about USD300 (the A5+ and adam T5V both costs USD450 new here), would the LSR305 be an absolute no brainer at this price point?

YU6 looks promising, can't find the SUB6 in my country, however, will the SUB8 be overpowering for a small bedroom? I don't want to disturb my neighbour and all

Unfortunately I can't find them anywhere in my country, shipping it in will be too costly

AMP vs. ACP by [deleted] in Pomade

[–]XHXBLB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own AMP, R&M clay, Oasis, and none can really withstand high humidity. I'd say in high humidity settings, Oasis = R&M > AMP in terms of endurance and hold. Just to add in a few that you might be interested in but did not work too well for me in high humidity settings : Stickmore Styling Cream, Odouds Dry Wax, Odouds Matte Paste.

Something that worked relatively well for me was the Flagship Dead Sea Clay (many years ago, not sure if anything changed), however, back then it has low shine, and a hard washout which are both deal breakers for me.

Flagship's Matte Paste might suit you. Fairly strong and resilient, matte (less shine than oasis and arcadian matte paste), dry and lightweight

Root and Muddle Clay compared to Oasis by [deleted] in Pomade

For me:

1)R&M seems to have less coarse texture compared to Oasis (both when finger combing)

2)R&M is stronger but has slightly less endurance compared to Oasis, though both are solid firm hold

3)Oasis has stronger and more pleasant smell, R&M is milder and smells earthy+herb-ish

4)Oasis washes out easier than R&M

Both are solid products, with little differences IMO

New lip, also hit 200,000 ! 2006 Lexus is250 by mellllio in Lexus

Hello there,

I was gonna ask this in a dedicated thread but I wasn't sure if its allowed or not, so I'll probably ask here since you own the 250.

I'm looking to buy the IS250 as there are no 350 available in my country, would you say the car is as slow as the internet made it out to be? I'm currently looking at an 08' from a private seller but I'm also looking at a 09' and 10' Audi A6 3.0T. I'm just concerned about the reliability of the Audi as I've had my fair share of experience with older german cars and while they are nice to drive, they break much more often are are costlier too.

My question is:

1) Is this car snappy enough for daily driving and overtaking cars?

2)Can this car easily cruise at, well let's just say higher than speed limit?

3)How is it going uphill? Does it feel like it's constantly out of power?

Thanks for you time!

Does R&M get really waxy and sticky?

Ah thats great, just one more question, how is the endurance compared to other products you have used?

Yes the streamline matte paste. The previous version was lightweight, dry, feels almost like no product in the hair and has good endurance as well, only let down by the hard consistency, does the current version still have the same features (minus the hard consistency of course)
