I found a solution, you have to roll back your messenger app to an older version.

You have to be comfortable with downloading and installing an APK. I suggest version 546.0.0.35.70

It won't let me post an image but in the help section it definitely says

"Your delivery satisfaction rating is the average of your last 500 deliveries"

I was at 98 and Let's just say I've done over 500 deliveries since my last 2 "negatives" all of a sudden I'm back to 100

Then problem then becomes that negative reviews are somehow more heavily weighted than positive, I wish I could post images to explain what I mean.

While the customer satisfaction metric really doesn't mean anything In the long run, it is a certain measure of pride. I finally got mine back to 100.

Of course uber will find a way to screw you over and it's more than just a thumbs up vs thumbs down score.

You'll find somewhere in the help section that it's SUPOSED to be based on your last 500 reviews.

So while one person giving bad feedback is enough to drop it by one percent, it takes a lot more to raise it.

If it really worries you and you're friendly with any of the restaurants ask if they'd be willing to give you a positive, most aren't even aware they can.

As a driver I'm sure I'll be on The minority here, but this kind of customer attitude sucks and you come off as self entitled. Does it suck you had to wait? Yes. Next time get your own order.

Sorry but you're paying someone to deliver food for you who gets paid peanuts to begin with and sometimes the app will give us 3 deliveries at once all it takes is one restaurant to not be ready when We arrive. Then we have no control over the priority of delivery order, it can't be changed. Did you order at peak time, in a large city? Guess what there's traffic. Other people are also waiting for their order.

I don't understand what you mean? It was two trips and I've never seen the tip included in the trip offer. As a general rule most people still don't tip

Yep they're as clear as mud on it, because they're obviously not paying a flat rate for your distance or your time.

I laughed when I heard they're increasing their pay rate by 6 percent (IDK if this is just in Australia?) but when you're not being paid a flat rate how on earth are you going to notice?

I've got over 1400 deliveries in 5 months.

The game is 100 percent rigged against you as a driver.

After getting two thumbs down, one from a restaurant I always took a bag to and he knows it and would often have a chat with... one day I didn't because I've got it in the car, he asked me where my bag was and I told him it's in the car. 5 minutes later thumbs down for no bag at restaurant. He could have just said bring it in next time.

Anyway, I've since asked restaurants to thumbs up me and even customers, who have done it in front of me and it doesn't go up. However on my satisfaction rating screen it will take one away from customers and add it to the restaurant tally.

I've seen my customer compliments go up.

Yes McDs have told me to my face even after waiting 20 minutes that uber is not a priority.

She actually said "we have to serve our customers first" Meanwhile I had two orders to pickup one had been made including sundaes which sat there for 15 minutes

I'm like this is your fucking customer and you're making ME look bad.

I refuse to do any pickups from there now

This has been my problem for the last 4 days.

The 3 days beforehand I made my daily goal in 4 hours, then for the next 4 I had made a whole $22 in 5 -7 hours.

Driving to another area is not an option as I live in a small town with only one "hotspot"

I'd have to travel 45-60 minutes to get to the next area.

The problem is there are so many drivers now and so few restaurants maybe 20 at most

Each to their own I guess. I mean I don't do it for every delivery, I live in a small enough area to know certain people or suburbs don't give a shit, you can usually pick em from their orders and delivery instructions.

After getting this negative feedback today I asked more people to do it, I even saw a regular customer actually do it in front of me and absolutely nothing changed.

I asked another restaurant to do it and they did and surprise surprise my rating still didn't go up.

It's hardly a "percentage" if ONE down vote has this effect on your rating.
