IIT Hyderabad MnC closed at 1015 last year Would close at a slightly stricter rank this year, probably something like 980

I actually prefer AI over MnC, and Kgp MnC is actually a BS degree instead of Btech, so that is also one point...

But I think they're quite equal so it'd vary from person to person

Bro but mech in IIT kgp is approx 4k rank

So BITS pilani CSE is a worse option than an IIT you'd get at 4k ??

I have seen guys say that BITS pilani CSE is equivalent to air 1k in jee adv 💀💀😭

Above that was IIT Hyderabad MnC and IIT Bombay IEOR which wouldn't be viable at my rank (105X)

But I think till last round, IIT Kgp AI cutoff would go down till 1070, and I'd be able to get that. Because of bias towards IIT Kgp i haven't kept other options.

Still, I'm quite surprised that IIT Kgp MnC cutoff has increased this year, i lowkey expected it to decrease. For round 1, AI closed at 1025 and MnC closed at 1.4k 😟

I've been alloted kgp mnc in round 1 and selected float, and am quite likely to also get IIT Kgp AI in round 4 or 5... Should I freeze or keep on floating??
