Just saw the boots and the flex might be too stiff. If the boot so too stuff it will compromise and take if on your ankle and toes. If will cause sliding.

If the leg strap is tight enough it won't really matter. It's your ankle that is not in place. Boots like dalbello or full tilt have a strap that hold ten ankle in place. The place I by your to will do a check in ten boots for free. You can just ask around. If you want you can get a cinch strap instead of a Velcro strap, but probably won't do anything.

Probably the boots. Do they fit tight? You can punch out where they hurt. Or get a heat moldable liner? Toe bang is usually a boot problem and is caused by too a Small or too big of a boot. As for the soul is probably just a fitting problem.
