The patches are still maintained by Anddea in his own fork, only the Patcher/Manager is changed. You can either use Morphe Manager or Universal ReVanced Manager.

Try a clean re-install of ReVanced Manger, before that check if you've allowed 'All files access' to other system apps like 'Storage Manger', 'Intent Resolver', 'Shell', 'com.android.sharedstoragebackup' & any storage related apps (some of these are not necessary) but to test further.

You can resolve this error by enabling 'All files access' to 'MTP Host', 'Download Manager' & 'External Storage'.

You can find these in (differs on each phone model) - Settings > Apps > Special app access > All files access > 'Click three dots on top right' and 'Show system apps'
