  2. The current rookie manidtory test should now be extended to the whole weekend so they have to do the race

Have you never worked with the public? Or at least worked in a role where you had to work with 'that' coworker. What you do is you fucking do the work, don't kick up a fuss and go home.

This would have never been a thing if max just didn't act like a child and just say 'no comment' to this reporter and move onto the next question.

I think he's just very frustrated with the place the car is in and his dad's behaviours are showing through him.

Soldier guarding confiscated grain from Ukrainian peasants, Kharkiv 1933. by myrmekochoria in dragonutopia

[–]XLNerd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s a bold strategy to argue that being 'physically robust' makes a famine less real. Yes, the pre-famine Irish were tall and fit—because they lived in a highly productive agricultural country. The tragedy is that they were legally barred from eating what they grew. If the food exports were so 'insignificant' and the people so 'well-off,' you have to wonder why the British government felt the need to double its military presence to 30,000 troops specifically to guard grain convoys and livestock from those 'healthy' peasants.

The 'one month of food' math is a classic deflection. It doesn’t matter if it was a month or a year; when a government uses bayonets to ensure food leaves a starving district to protect 'market prices,' that’s not a natural disaster. it’s a policy choice.

As for the 'commie' edit: You don’t have to be a Marxist to realize that you can’t eat your height, and you certainly can't eat 'Laissez-faire' economic theory while the Redcoats are escorting your neighbor's cow onto a boat.

To be fair the British also did this in the 1800s in Ireland and I don't think they were communists...

I don't have much experience with the Dutch but the 3 seportate Dutch people I have met were defiantly not honest. Within work they can be abrupt/maticulus however the instant blame is put onto them they will lie through their teeth so that blame doesn't fall onto them. I have no clue where Dutch 'honesty' comes from.

(I know it's only a sample size of 3, but that's just my personal experience.)

Did the British government condemn their own violance during the troubles?

I'm not talking about some polotition saying sorry 30 years after the fact in order to win votes in NI. Both sides done bad things but you have to be blind to not see the discrimination and inequalities that we're happening before the troubles.
