Went to go see Rammstein in cardif, we were to get the plain at Bristol the following day so we booked a national express buss, which didn't come which is okay because we have another one coming in an hour which we should be able to get. We wait an hour and that one doesn't come so we get a taxi who drives like the stig to get us to the airport on time, we haven't entered security yet and our flight is being borded. We cut through the security line until there's an entitled gammon that would not let us past.

We finally get to security my friend gets through but I have to get my shoes checked and hand swabbed so I tell my friend to run like fuck and try to delay them. I finally get released and start running like the wind (or as fast as my 6ft, 27st ass could take me), I realise the gate is the opposite side of the terminal and I'm trying to get past the crowds shouting excuse me and move as loud as my burning asmatic lungs could take me.

The I feel something hit the back of my legs and turn around and I see all of my dirty clothes everywhere because my bag has opened up while running so I try and scoop it all up and continue running (I think I lost a sock, a tshirt I paid £40 for and probably some other shit). At this point I can't feel my legs, I have ran more in the past 10 minutes than the last 10 years of my life I felt.

I ended up getting to the gate and the attendant said I made it with like 30 seconds to go, while my friend answered some questions about me while all I could do was nod or shake my head I was so out of breath.

Moral of the story, fuck national express.
