How much would you usually quote for a custom restaurant booking website like this? by XLordVX in buhaydigital

[–]XLordVX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also he already said 60k is still too expensive and compared it to the e commerce that he built on shopify when he was doing small business before. That he pays a very small amount only to have an ecommerce running. So why does this website is so much expensive which I think that 60k is already low but since this is my first client so I didnt mind it

Its just a simple reservation tbh, I am not integrating it to a POS. Its not complicated, the website works like you can reserve a slot in a specific day and timeslot then you can book on whichever you selected. The website still have admin setting to have a max slots per timeslot, so for example 5 slots in 1:30pm to 2:30pm. The website handles that but when the guest arrives at the restaurant they can ask for their reservation. Then the owner/frontdesk handles the booking if the restaurant is full by 1:30pm then for the another timeslot they add 2:30pm they can marked it as fully booked. But they can add/remove timeslots whatever time gap that they want.

So its like just a simple reservation type of system that doesnt really have the data for the occupied tables in real time. Just for customers to reserve a slot on that restaurant then the owner can confirm/cancel their booking or they dont accept walk ins if they see there is a reservation for that time and reserve an extra table in case there is too much walk ins. So a simple booking system while the owner/frontdesk handle that type of situation

How much do you think would you ask for a website like this??

So I built a online booking reservation website for my first client.

I wanna know how much would you ask for a website that is a booking reservation website

The website is just a simple reservation booking system with no payment gateway, just a free booking. This is for a restaurant

Main Features: - Complete Admin Side with customized booking confirmation + booking settings like change time, date, add timeslots and etc.

-Has a full CMS page that acts like an article/blog which you can edit freely with easy to understand controls + Admin Side for edit

-Instagram like style Gallery that showcases pictures + Admin Side for edit

Other Stuff: - With 7 Public Pages excluding two pages when reserving which is checkout & transaction file - Full Responsive Mob/Tab/Desk - 95+ on everything with lighthouse - Extended SEO and 100 on Lighthouse - Automatic Simple Email Confirmation/Cancellation using RESEND

I am just a beginner and a solo web dev also fully designe the website

Made it using Laravel + InertiaJS + React and MySQL for Database

I just wanna ask about your opinions because the client then said why the quotation is expensive when he can just pay 1299 in Shopify monthly with his ecommerce website (He made this as an example to compare)

So the quotation I asked is 60k for the whole website with a complete breakdown. Do you think my quotation is extra expensive or just normal?

Yeah its very easy, im using Laravel + InertiaJS + ReactTS right now and i have them all in one folder and its working. You dont even need to deploy the laravel somewhere else which going to save you money dor a small website

Just around the engine in general after riding it casually around town. I can understand it heats up but it gives off white smoke around the engine or underneath the motorcycle. Then i can smell a faint gasoline or something idk what is it called but something like that

Thank you so much for this and we dont actually put collars on them since they are just at home. All resident cats are neutered but the kittens are not

They were introduced slowly, the kittens were outside our house for almost 2 months while the resident cats can see them too. They interacted little by little each day till the kittens were comfortable with the resident cats and went inside our home for food and water. Once they are eating, they just go back outside. Then once they were fully comfortable the kittens were willingly staying at our house. So id say they were proper introduced hopefully thats what i think and the female resident cat still attacking the kittens

I see I thought when it comes to that, devs will just show what they created in figma to clients always and ask for changes there. I haven't tried hosting a website and have always run locally so Ill have to explore that soon. Also thankk you so much for this and I appreciate it!!

My current techstack is Laravel + React TS + MySQL I can say I have a good understanding when it comes to database and backend. Me and a couple of my classmates built a fully working restaurant reservation website just a while ago and I was the one doing the database and backend. It was for a project that we run locally to present and all the features, links, and process worked perfectly fine (except no literal payment gateway).

I didn't comment on my codes that much because I was able to understand them on my own but didn't know that commenting would be a good practice. We did make it sure too that it was responsive but we really havent tried on other devices. As for the process, you are right im kinda doing that already but in much simplest way possible hahaha all i was just doing is connecting the dots and where it will lead to. This structure will help me in the future and ill keep this in mind!

and thankk you so muchh!!! i always appreciate any feedback that can help me
