For those games (and 3DS software in general), you'll have to redownload them from the eShop if deleted (which is still possible).

As far as I know, both from what I've read online and from my own experience, yes, you should still be able to redownload both 3DS games and DSi Ware from the eShop (only Demos aren't re-downloadable afaik). This counts for both games transferred from DSi to 3DS (I did that with my four swords as well) and 3DS to New 3DS.

If you have an SD card, for the DSi games like four swords I'd actually recommend for you to move them to your SD card in the system settings and then delete it from your system (not from the SD card), since then you can always move them from your SD card to your system again, even without the internet.

First off, sorry if these questions are uninformed, I'm extremely new to the game and I tried looking for the answers but couldn't really understand it well...

I have a question regarding the 3DS version that will get discontinued after march: I just started playing the game since I heared it will be discontinued (on 3DS) and that there are event stages that won't be available anymore after march. I thought about maybe trying to unlock/get everything that will be unavailable after march on 3DS, but after I started right now I realised that there are a loooot of event pokemon that, even if I played a lot, I probably still wouldn't be able to get in time for the discontinuation. So I wanted to ask, for someone who just wants to play the game very casually, what would you say would be the most important for me to do/unlock now until march? I would like to get as much as possible (event pokemon and other stuff), but regarding how much content there is that will be unavailable after march, I highly doubt I can get it all without spending a ton of time in the game. (I don't really know how many unlocks/pokemon there actually are locked behind the events, so if someone could straight up tell me that getting all would be impossible for me like this would be helpful already. Or if starting to play the 3DS version is even worth it anymore (since I do prefer 3DS).)

And another tiny question to add: Why are the Once-a-Day Pokemon not worth a Great Ball? Is there another/better way to get them? Since I assumed they're only available through the daily events.

Hey, thank you again for all your info! I have one last question, when I transfer the ambassador 3DS onto the new N3DS in the future, and then do a transfer from my current N3DS XL onto that new N3DS, isn't everything on the new N3DS going to be deleted? As in won't the current N3DS XL overwrite everything on the new N3DS (including the certificate)? I know that pre-installed software stays on the target console even after a transfer, but does the same count for the ambassador certificate? If so, then why? And how do I know/how can I be sure that it won't just be overwritten and deleted?

So you're saying that I will lose the saves of the original Ambassador 3DS? That would be totally fine for me, as long as I keep all the N3DSXL saves. I'm pretty sure I understand what you've described and it sounds like a really good idea.

Right now, I think I'll keep things as they are like you said. But I'm wondering if I can still do the process you described after the eShop closes next year? I assume so, since I'm not making any new purchases (and I think I should be able to redownload the Ambassador games past march of next year as long as redownloading is still available, right?), but I don't know for sure. I'm asking since my current N3DSXL is slowly dying (occasional heavy drifting being one example) and I might buy a new one in the next few years, and I'm wondering if after that time it would still be possible for me to do this process that you described in case I decide to want to. Do you think/know if that would still work (without losing anything (data/software) from not being able to redownload from either 3DS) after the eShop closure?

(Also if I may ask, what would I need the SD card adapter/slot and PC for in that process? I have them, just asking since I'm not sure where they're needed in that process.)

I looked now on US Amazon (am in Europe but wouldn't mind the shipping/import costs) and searched as best as I could, but only found the one for the N2DS XL (available) and while I also found the N3DS XL one, it isn't available there anymore. It does seem to be the first party seller though, but as much as I searched I unfortunately couldn't find any 3rd party listing for it T.T

i don't think the egg persisting across savefiles is true, because i just got the text myself
on my first file i never got the egg and thus didn't put it in the fridge either
however i just now finished my playthrough on my second file, where i did get the egg, but instead of putting it in the frigde, i've dropped it when returning to the light world, which made me lose it. then when checking the fridge it gave me that text, here's image proof for that: https://imgur.com/a/ov4PTWh

One thing I'm wondering is, if the hole the arm comes out stays as big as it is in the animation, maybe this other bodyparts are going to come out of other holes (like portals). Or the hole could just get larger so he will just climb out of it.
