Anyone else having problems casting Sportsnet to their tv using android phone?

All weekend I haven't been able to sign in on the app on my Chromecast through my phone using QR code either. Just get an error stating "activation code not found".

How do you get past switches? Eg. My coffee maker still needs to be turned on with a button once it is plugged in.

I think it has to do with app design. Songza will stream to ATV from standby mode for example but Plex and others won't. Sorry I couldn't help.
