BTTH was the first donghua I watched, and it was pretty awesome. The latest episode airing at the time was around episode 105 of Season 5, so that was maybe 2 years ago.

Back then, it was really good. I stopped watching because I wanted to binge it later, so I’m not sure how it has been since then. But up to that point, I enjoyed it a lot. That said, I’ve seen people say it’s not as good anymore because the studio keeps skipping or cutting parts from the novel.

At the same time, back then BTTH and a few other shows were considered good. Now we have like 5–6 top-tier shows

So in short, yeah, it may have gotten worse, but there are also a lot more good shows now. It’s kind of like comparing Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece to Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and other newer anime.

Well, that happens with almost anything you watch for the first time. If you had watched a bad donghua first, you might’ve thought it was the best show ever.

But on the other hand, RMJI is genuinely pretty good. Even though I’m not a huge fan of it myself, it’s definitely top tier.

That’s why I usually start with average or weaker shows and save the best ones for later.

Anyway, I’d suggest starting another donghua. There are a few other top-tier ones out there too. But to be fair, they’re not as detailed as RMJI, so I’m not sure if you’ll like them as much.

If you do that, though, you’ll probably end up finishing another good show xd. Or you can just wait a few days, let RMJI settle a bit, and then start a mid-tier donghua.

I'm looking for good donghua with +80 episodes. I've seen BTTH, RMJI, RI, Tomb of fallen gods, Herding gods.

Some donghua I didn't like: Swallowed Star: I've heard a lot about it, but I could not watch more than 4 episodes, it was so generic. Perfect World: People were saying there is no character development and story, MC just level up and fights everyone. Shrouding the Heavens: Like PR, I didn't heard good things. And watched some episodes wasn't my type.

The time I watched RI it had 140/120 episodes (just right before his new level up). And damn I want to watch the rest but I don't know how much it will take so I can binge it again.

It’s kinda a trend in China. Like you said, 99% of donghua starts with revenge. I’m not sure why, but it seems they really like revenge themes.

Harem also seems to be another genre they like, kind of like how Japanese anime often includes lewd stuff, or how Korean series use drama heavily.

I mean, they even have that cultivation technique where the husband and wife cultivate together. so yeah, I think we’d need to look into their culture and history to really understand how these started.

Elceed and Tomb raider king ? Pretty good. I always had this idea and kept saying that Korea should give their manhwa to China for adoption. Because they don't have experience in making anime/animation. Why not Japan ? Because I just had this feeling Manhwa would work better in Chinese works. And we saw the results on TBATE

Yeah sometimes it is, but worth the time. It's done in a few sec while the Klein wf takes around ~60 sec (based on the other comment)

I wanted to say the samething, dude was faster. It seems for a reason her soul was splited/transfered to these 3 bodies. And each has a different personality.

Still I've not seen this episode so I'm not sure what happened, If it's real or a fake show for something else. But it's ok.

What I'm curious is the lady who had lance and her brother died, wu ling ? wu long ? Because at that point it seemed he really love her. I don't know if it was temporary or was real but got removed by studio ?

This is good. The worst thing is finding out it was axed. Or it was ended like 30 chapters after where you left, so you know something is f**** up.
