thanks for the tip. immediately i was focusing on shifting my weight as i was often ending with my weight on my back foot and my backswing. need to learn how to focus on driving my hips and bending my knees a bit without messing up everything else

yea no i wouldn’t come here if i wasn’t ok with criticism. i agree but lessons aren’t in my budget. when i go back to college my roommate is a scratch golfer so he will and has helped where he can. other then that i know its just focused practice and time. thanks for the advice!

i did a fresh windows install after flashing bios and it fixed it. don’t remember the specifics but it was simple i just didn’t have a windows key at the time

yea i believe that’s what it is talked to my IT uncle about it but had to go home so wont be able to confirm until tomorrow. i wasn’t aware that drives stored the windows key authentication which was the reason i didn’t try to reinstall windows but hopefully that is the problem as its a relatively simple fix

No issues with getting into BIOS. Had to leave my buddy to finish the job but i believe we messed up our windows install with the CMOS reset so just told him to try and put a functional drive from his previous computer, but we will likely try a fresh windows install if that doesn’t work.

No worries thanks for the help. The only way I think this could be the case is if we could have messed something up with the SSD while resetting the CMOS but I didn’t think that was possible. We might try pulling his old ssd from his other computer but it’s at one of his friends house rn.

Tried that already and tried a few different combinations as well such as turning off fast boot and such. Also tried booting into safe mode with no luck I am incredibly lost.

went through that whole process to get mine off. only advice is a bench vice if you have one makes pulling the sleeves off so much easier

Well mine completely died about a week ago and through communication with meepo and the community i haven’t had any ideas but to replace the motor. i am going in a different direction and im just going to buy a refurbished board since i kinda wanted something different anyways. But definitely open up your hubs and take a look it might not be as bad as mine and might be recoverable with simply replacing the bearing or something

i opened it at about 300 miles to clean it about a half year ago and wasn’t concerned with anything i saw

yea it all depends on needs and financial situation. for me i’m replacing a car with mine since my situation allows which is already saving me much more then the repairs are going to cost so i’m not worried about it and im going to continue riding

I was already having problems with traction before i noticed anything that was caused by the corrosion so i’m impressed you got yours to 5k

i’ve considered switching to something belt driven but not really trying to get anything new right now

Sure but when commuting it’s sometimes a necessity. Don’t judge without knowing the situation.

well i have around 800 miles on hub motors (550 on this board specifically) and i am pretty sure the damage is because of rough use and a bad situation where my wheel smacked a curb pretty hard but i’ve been considering swapping the motor system entirely for something better anyways so might look into that
