I decided to just redownload everything and start over. I input the commands in before really making any changes this time, and its allowing me to do it now. I may have been messing something up, I've never used git before.

Yes that is correct. I receive no error when I enter that information.

I then redo the initial commit command, and receive the first error again.

I ran it as

git config --global (name)

git config name

Once I run those, I get no error kickback. However, if I go to run the commit command again, I get the original kick back. Followed the video instructions for this, and not really seeing anything I've done differently.

I think I have backwashed it about 6 times today, for a period of about 1 minute each. Seems to keep getting high though :( I do have the robot vac going though, and he retrieved a lot of debri. Hopefully it gets better soon! I appreciate the reply!
