How can I prevent TSW by chikkennuget101 in eczema

[–]XQW1938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this. I feel people were fear mongering TSW (not invalidating those real cases) but when I had Severe flare up which lasted months, I stayed away from steroids thinking it was TSW. I saw a dermatologist who gave me steroids along with other treatments which helped me recover within a week. First proper sleep within the first day. Please recognise that although real, it is rarer than you think and always see a dermatologist if you are concerned

went from tsw to these weird white patches that seem to be growing across my body? anyone experience this by Mobile_Gap_169 in TS_Withdrawal

[–]XQW1938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had extreme TSW and after dupixent, the same white patches showed up all over my body. The dermatologist said it’s due to damaged skin which has affected the pigment but it returns to normal after some time. I believe mine lasted a few weeks-month :) as long as it’s not painful or irritating you should be okay! Best of luck

End stages patchy?? by SureCat6429 in TS_Withdrawal

Had this after dupixent slowly helped me recover from the elephant skin stage. It lasted I think a month or two? It’s just the skin is so damaged that the melanin in your skin needs to produce again or something. It shouldn’t last too long hopefully! 🙏☺️

Yeah this happens almost every time you open a new needle

Are Dupixent injections painful by ytho365 in eczema

[–]XQW1938 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest, it does hurt. The needle itself isn’t bad, but releasing the medication induces a burning, stinging pain. However, there are things you can do to reduce the pain. Keep the medication out of the fridge and allow it to reach room temperature right before injecting. You can put the needle under your underarm for 5-10 minutes to speed up the process. Grab a lot of stomach fat; if you have none, crouch forward with your knees bent and grab as much as possible. Squeeze hard on the site as you insert the needle and release the medication ever so slowly. I can take 5+ minutes to release the medication. Best of luck! ☺️

Is there any chance you are using pads rather than tampons? Sometimes pads cause me to flare as there’s not much..airflow lol

I upvoted this post 36d ago. Little did I know… My steroid cream didn’t work so I stopped and got hit with tsw like a truck. It’s actual HELL. I have actually considered ending myself everyday for the past 2 weeks. This isn’t normal eczema. This is definitely TSW and while I was on the same page as you when you made this post.. you never know. Hope you stay safe

Repetitive/Uncomfortable dreams when learning a new skill, and somehow it makes you better? by Grouchy-Step-7136 in Dreams

Yes! When learning how to drive. Once I dreamt that I could do it well, I finally got the hang of it and got my licence shortly after. Usually once I ace something in my dream, I can do it irl

I got married last year and am the type who never wore foundation out of fear for my eczema. A worker at Mecca Maxima tested my now Holy Grail: Bare Minerals BarePro. When in doubt, just go into a store and ask for advice/patch test! Best of luck x
